Not at all, my belt was made from my favourite ever pet cow. Shame I had to kill the fucker, but I needed a belt. Also, steak.

And then I'm not going to Otley Beer Festival. Nor eating curry. Nor playing Dark Souls. I might strip down one of the bikes.

I thought Betty's but I think the reaction would be "How much for a cup of tea?" running on past experiences.

Deffo. Worth it, every penny.. It's top stuff.

Trouble is when they come to visit is balancing dietary requirments (no curries, or anything spicy) and what to do during the day (pound shops, discount shops), no afternoon beers (and you can't eat and drink in teh same place, it has to be different places) and no beer before 9pm.

For all the shit I post on here I think I've only ever started one B&B thread.

Crazy but true story.

I don't think anyone has succeeded in that for a while.

I would, of course, but have never actually started a B&B thread

I think I'm going to spend the rest of the day doing "Career Development" or make a token effort to look for a venue. Like BCFC.

Heh, that reminds me. At the last minute, I paid £150 for the "DJ" at Teen Angel #1's otherwise opulent marquee wedding, a few years back now, in order to supplement the band we booked (who were excellent).

I got what I paid for: some old Scouser with a (solitary) blown 5 watt speaker with about as much idea of DJing as I have, and a considerably smaller selection of tracks. And a stammer, IIRC.

I just had to marvel at the unparalleled audacity of the bloke. Fortunately, he was ***so*** bad, the sound quality ***so*** poor and feeble, we all just fell about laughing - uncontrollably in fact. He lasted about 20 mins.
