I'm plodding along quite nicely having between 800 and 1200 calories a day at the moment. Crumpets for breakfast, low fat ready meal for lunch, protein bar for tea and grazing on cereal throughout day to make sure I've enough carbs.

Managed another 60 (4 sets 15) inclined press ups last night but last 5 had somewhat dodgy form again so will get that 60 spot on before I add any more reps.

My trousers already feeling that bit less tight. Looking forward to seeing the results in April if I can carry on at this rate.

They are grey with bright orange bits. They'll go well with my bright orange running top.

Fuck wearing tights to go running. If I wanted to look like that much of a twat then I'd take up cycling.

Compression tights give you an extra 4% though.

I ran in compression tights last night. Short sleeved top meant very cold arms by the end, so I'm not sure what the message is, reckon I might have been better off with shorts, evening it all up.

Does anyone else use My Fitness Pal? I find the iPhone app is really good - tracking weight loss, measurements, a food diary with a database of a billion food products and an exercise diary which tells you how many calories you've worked off (approximate of course!).

I intended to go for a run and not drink last night, but the allure of sitting on the recliner and watching Dexter with a Cuba Libre was too much to resist after a busy week at work.

So, instead, this morning I dropped off the car for its MOT at the garage, and interval ran/walked the 5k home in 35 minutes. Given the circumstances, the amount of hills, and that it was roughly half and half running/walking 5w-5r-3w-8r-4w-5r-5w - I'm pretty pleased.

Huzzah!

I used to use it. I don't even use Fitocracy any more.

My app is: eat and drink everything. Then do all the exercise. :)

Back on the fast tomorrow, other day will be Friday as I'm in Belgium Tues-Fri and I'll never be able to do whilst I'm there.

Done 3 5K runs this week as well, some with my wife.

Ate sensibly the rest of the time, (well maybe aside from the pulled pork I did last night) and hand a couple of beers Friday night.
Won’t be going on the scales until the end of the month.

Nobody? It's a game, that you play, about zombies, that you listen to while running, which earns you stuff to fill your base! :D

There is the basic game, but there is also a couch to 5k plan variant.
I'm going to try the first one tonight, but most likely on the exercise bike if the snow comes as expected. First one is just a freeform 30 minute run and scene setting, so I should be fine to bike it.

Thanks. I don't have much of a strategy, a plan, a programme or a diet.

I just fucking love to exercise. Once folk can make that psychological step, it gets very easy.

I haven't run for about three weeks now.

Have lost three pounds in the last week :DD

Sod the evil running, the stressful job is clearly more affective!!

Although, health wise, probably not so great. Will get back to it once the slippery slidey roads are, well, not slippery and slidey.

In the meantime, weight lifting and sit ups!

Trousers' trousers are getting too big for Trousers

Conversely my shirts are getting a bit tight across the chest.

Both of these things are good.

Weight lifting = arm OW today!

But to spur me on... I'm wearing a dress that has a "12" tag in it. Age 12.

I've done new year's resolutions correctly, and pretty much given up exercising for January. So I'm not going to the gym and nobody's going to make me.

Since 31st December I've lost 15lbs. Nearly back to what I was before I got hungry in the summer.

I would like to lose another 6lbs before my best friend's hen do in 4 weeks. And it's her wedding in 10 weeks and I must look fabulous for that in my bridesmaid dress. More gyming!

Miscalculated - make that 16lb!

GJ - lots of cardio work at the gym, 1,200 calories a day and I've cut out booze. Got to reintroduce booze at the start of next month though - I need to get in training for the hen do!
