Those 4 screens should work together to show a single video. Top left screen goes off whenever the media view box that supplies the signal is moved and the top right screen has a resolution problem leaving a black border around the edge that I've not been able to resolve.

I believe you could have figured it out.

He would've figured it eventually. He assumed it was *broken*, but it was just a mounting screw sticking out stopping the door from latching. Needs a technician's eye to spot quickly.

A mate of mine and Mrs. W is a self made millionaire with a holiday home on Tenerife. When we stayed with him a few years ago one of his kitchen cabinet doors was sticking and I was able to fix it in a couple of minutes. Not only did he not understand why it was sticking, he didn’t understand how I’d fixed it. No practical skills at all, that boy.

Was it sticking due to gravitational forces, expounded by centrifugal motion factors due to being closer to the equator? Did you fix it by moving the sofa to the other side of the lounge?

Are eggs solids? If so, they should not be in my liquid fridge. Also, yoghurt.

I believe eggs are colloids (probably an emulsion) encased in a solid shell. But it's a while since I did chemistry.

Kinel.

Last day with Fujitsu today, and my Peugeot Partner has gone back. The new company haven't organised leased vans yet, so we'll be having hire vans for a while. This damn thing arrived tonight. It probably wouldn't be a big problem if next door didn't have a lamp post on the pavement right next to their drive. I doubt that they'll be able to get their car in the available space. We may have to have a rethink about what goes where as we have three cars and two vans to park out there.

Only if you want them to last longer, it's perfectly safe to keep them in the cupboard or on the side otherwise.

I mean... yes? That’s the same thing.

It’s not just “not going off though.” For example, the membrane that surrounds the yolk breaks down much faster at room temperate. It’s harder to get a neat fried or poached egg if it’s not been refrigerated.

Much better to just have some chickens in the garden, then you can't eat the eggs fast enough for them to degrade and have to give them away.

They're good for a month at British room temperature, but that is never a problem here.

If the items in the liquid fridge are sloshing around at the bottom, then no, they don't. If, and suspect this more likely, the "liquids" in question are in containers, and the eggs are still raw, then, yes, the eggs belong in the liquid fridge.

Liquid fridges are just for beers/ciders/wine/pop, aren't they?

So unless you are going to drink the runny egg contents, they go somewhere else.

In theory they should turn up tomorrow (at Heathrow) then get overnighted to the house, so hopefully Wednesday, assuming I can work from home as they probably won't fit through the letterbox.

Or what she said.
