Google maps can download your route corridor so you aren't sycking up your kilobytes. And I find it surprisingly light anyway, especially when starting on WiFi

Got to the rental house for the night only to realise I have forgotten my trainers, phone charger, toothbrush and cutlery.

Update on minidisk problem. Replacement eject belt has been sourced and fitted. Piece of piss, really. But at £5.99 that must have been the most expensive elastic band I've ever bought. Next time, if there is one, I'll try just a bog standard band that you by by the packet for less than a quid.

Can some one help me please?

I bought a fire tv stick from Amazon and set it up for my brother and sis in law. I took it over, long story short it died a death.

I set up a replace/return with Amazon and they sent me a label. Well actually no, they have sent me a QR code. WTF do I do with it? There is no address, nothing.

TIA.

There should be an email with return address labels to print out, done that with mine a couple of times.

Hmm or is it a case of organising a pick up and the courier will just scan the QR code?

I thought it might be https://www.passmyparcel.com/ but it looks like they've stopped trading.

Have you tried scanning the code? See if it takes you to a specific site?

I just checked the return again and it says you have to take to a main PO branch as no one else can do it. Which is not possible.

Why the fuck do companies do shit like this? Just put a fucking address on it, give me a RMA number and let me return it :(

I had this problem a while ago as I ordered some printer cartridges that didn't work and needed sending back. They sent me a label to print out... which I couldn't as the printer cartridges I'd ordered didn't work and needed sending back.

In the end, I got in touch with Amazon customer services who were very helpful and sent me an email with a code that could be scanned at one of those collect + places.

So, in closing. Get in touch with Amazon. They'll do what ever is best for you.

Yes, but in fairness they did try to sort it out.

In the world, even - though that is because it is in the USA. Seemed crazy to me, Singapore a much better hub. Then I thought about how many people move large distances in the US, and have the money to do it...

Do you mean the train that takes you from boarding to the main terminal? I went on that 10 years ago, but it's all changed now and there was no sign of it this time. There was one at Orlando airport last year though.

Not that I'm a super world traveller or anything like that, but having done Aus - Europe a fair few times, I can say that Singapore airport is the best of the ones we've been through. Especially since we realised that two separate flights (with time to check onto the transit hotel and crash out relax for a bit) is the better way to do it than trying to get the flights with as short a stop as possible.

The door switch on the integrated diahwashwr in the kitchen has broken. Not sure if this is an electrician or a plumber's job.

It's neither. You want an appliance technician.

It took a long time for me to get reimbursed for some expenses accrued on a job interview, because I was too lazy to fill in the forms for a while.
