Typically I'll like an idea if it's lifted from Snow Crash.

It's just a heads-up display though really, isn't it? I mean, it doesn't actually function as glasses for people who need glasses. Because that would be cool, if you had zoom and IR mode as well :hat:

Indeed. What struck me most about the video is how congenial it is with consumption. The guy's human interactions were utterly replicant. :p

Did she have purple hair? I met her once, and I don't think she did have.

Oh, it's the avatar! Of course it is.

1. "Have you got a Nectar Card at all?"

At all? What are the states between 'yes' and 'no'? Is it possible to partially have a Nectar Card?

2. Leaving supermarket. Car wants to turn right into service station. I am approaching a big speedbump so I slow right down and flash my lights twice. Car doesn't react. As I get on top of the speedbump flash twice again. Car doesn't react. I descend from the speed bump, two car lengths away, NOW the other car starts to turn into my path. Brake quickly, stop, glare at other drive who gestures for me to go past. I gesture for them to go into the fucking service station already and then just sit and stare back at them until they do because they're a FUCKING MORON.

3. Birthday card for my mother. Start to write the envelope. Her name, but the first line of my address. The card is far too large to fit into any of the blank envelopes I have.

I would rather have 3x http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/lg-d2342p ... ~~11255570

(edit: my set up is currently 3 monitors, 1 main PC, 1 internet PC (only 1gb ram) and 3 external hard drives, all of which combined would cost less than a top spec new PC, the internet pc came from an office for £40)

When the children want to use the internet then the monitor on the left and the second mouse/keyboard are moved onto the other desk. It's less confusing than it looks although it is a pain in the arse trying to find the right plug.

Code on the middle one, application you're building on the left one, database / Photoshop / others on the right one, error log on the top on (if you've got four).

Rap now, and the white boy plays the race card. Badly.

Warning: contains rap. Plus it's long, but the killer verse is about 20 minutes in or so.

Fair enough.

I've had too much excitement for one day. Woke up at ten to seven with a raging hangover approaching, so had a shower and watched TV on my iPod. Then I got into my bike riding gear and procrastinated for an hour before going out over the big hill that I can see from the front window. Two hours later I return home and went into Bradford to help MrsA buy some walking trousers. This took a while as it seems finding a pair that fits and she is happy with means 'try all the others on' as well. We came home and I bought some kindling and had q couple of pints whilst watching the end of the football. People up here are incredibly friendly and polite, something I still marvel at. Ate dinner and now I want sleeps.

Decca, I hope the dog isn't too naughty for you, it made me laugh a lot, as did the texts from dog.
