HOC## is threatening to "go and do a report" (via email - she's on a train from up north right now). Anyway, before we left, he took me aside and said quietly "Listen son - this isn't going to make sense to you now, and it probably won't for a while yet. But it's important, so remember it." Obviously, it's Vinnie Jones, and I'm damned well going to remember it, but he made me promise not to forget anyway. And once I had, he said "Tell [HOC] to ignore her fucking report and come to the quiz." |
