Heavy Rain is the only PS3 game I've completed fact fans... and I enjoyed it (even if it is a bit silly in places)

I think I enjoyed Fahrenheit much more than Heavy Rain, but they do obviously share some DNA strands. Fahrenheit's bonkers-ness actually kept me interested whereas parts of Heavy Rain are either terribly mundane or just miserable (both in terms of weather and character). The scene where your son comes round to your horrible shithole of a single-father house and you need to microwave him some terrible food before sending him to bed really did makes me want to fucking kill myself. That's probably unfair of me because there are a lot of genuinely exciting/terrifying sections in the game that are worth experiencing, but there's no denying that the overall 'average' impression that springs instantly to mind when someone mentions Heavy Rain is 'grey and miserable'.

Just remembered I bought some points through the Xbox dashboard for <17.00>. Could have got them cheaper elsewhere, but the sheer convenience swayed me.

I looked at Grimrock. Wish I'd bought it yesterday when it was a fiver. Think I'll wait for the next price drop.

Even sitting at my computer, the effort of opening up Steam to find out isn't worth finding out about a ten pence difference.

It's curiosity, not parsimoniousness. I wonder if that means Steam adjusted it's exchange rate in the last day and a half.

Yes, I seem to have got rid of a load of old consoles and games, just to buy a ton of PC games instead. At least they don't take up any physical space, I suppose.

<1.49> on Gunman Clive, a random pick from my ridiculous backlog of Android games. It's some kind of 2D jumpy shooty thing that reminds me a bit of Sunset Riders from the screenshots. I see it mentioned quite a lot around the place and it's had really good reviews on Android and iOS so we'll see how it goes.
