<10.00> on GoW3 and Fable 3 turned up at last, but I think that is still included in the total.

Oh and <£0.79> for Burn the Rope on WP7 and <£12.95> for Halo Anniversary on the 360.

Having just played the Dirt Showdown demo it's become a confirmed purchase...finally someone has got round to remaking Demolition Derby and if it's even a third as good as the original I shall be well chuffed.

I take it you've never played Flatout: Ultimate Carnage then.

I love a bit of Flatout (it's a shame more people don't play it online), this one seems to be (from the track on display) more or less a straight DD game though.

Ditto.

The Poop Poop Parasite killed everyone. MUWAHAHAHAHAA!

(could do with being far more interactive; half the game is spent just staring at the screen).

Knowing me, it's actually quite surprising that I bothered to strip the quotes out of the totals.

I probably knicked the code from the old Mafia Scum counter, though, so that makes sense.

So, er, yeah. Carry on.

I ordered it on the forth, it took Zavvi until today to point out that I had typo'd my expiry date into the past on the card I used

Zavvi are rubbish like that.

I've got a few things to put in to my expenditure but I can't remember how much I've paid for things. I'll get on it later.

<0.81> on JAZZ: Trump's Journey a stylish little platformer on Android (also available on iOS). It's a decent game filled with nice ideas but, unfortunately, also some really shitty DRM that meant it kept kicking off processes in the background even when I hadn't played it all day. Not a problem in itself, but a deal-breaker when the spawned processes kept fucking crashing, throwing up errors and freezing my phone so it's been uninstalled.

Plus <1.99> on the jaw-droppingly gorgeous Wave Racer-alike Riptide GP, also for Android & iOS. I already had this from some long-since-finished Samsung store promotion, but the version I had only had tilt controls and it would never update for some reason. I'd play it half-heartedly now and again because it's so pretty but tilt controls can die in a fucking ditch so it never truly captured my interest. Somehow the other day I stumbled across the fact that the proper real current version on Google Play had long since had proper on screen steering controls added so I snapped it up and it makes a world of difference.

I've bought lots of things it seems, including some game points, Donkey Konga 1 and 2 and some bongos, Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, Fez, Trials Evolution, Suzuki allstar racing, Street Fighter X Tekken, Ridge Racer Unbounded, Rise of Nightmares and some other things that I can't quite remember...

If I put this here <91.76> then it'll bring my total in line with my spreadsheet.

No. I'm still not convinced that taking money off when you sell stuff makes sense - otherwise you might as well start putting your wages in.

That's not why it doesn't work, though.

It's purely game-related though and money I've made back. I assume people aren't counting store credit in this - it's much the same thing.

YMMV, but I don't track any sort of credit; I count it as cash when I list the purchase. So I bought Ico&SOTC for £22 with £10 credit, but I listed that as £22. I also don't track money spent on MS Points or iTunes vouchers; I convert the money at time of purchase and post that instead.

Speaking of which, about <£4.50> Iron Brigade.

Fair enough, I guess there are no rules so people are tracking it how they like. I will be mentally subtracting it at the end of the year though. ;)

I suppose there's a few people on this forum who aren't tracking their expenditure at all. :o

Oh, so it added on an extra £120? I did think the total was slightly high. :)

You could also go back and remove £120 worth of debit from earlier posts.

I guess it depends whether you're interested in measuring how much games stuff you buy, or how much of your money you spend on games stuff.

I assumed the latter, seeing as the word 'expenditure' is in the thread title. ;)

But it's the same thing! Just because you got some money back when you sold a game doesn't mean it has to be spent on a game. If anything, you should deduct it from the expenditure in the year the game was bought, not sold.

Depends - if you're only spending money because you got the trade-in credit, then it's valid for inclusion.
