I'm jealous! We haven't opened our presents yet. Roll on midday when the in-laws arrive.

Brilliant! Can't wait to play it.

Also got a book about how a woman can please her man or something along those lines... Flis is currently reading it and hopefully learning a thing or two. Forum won't let me upload a picture of it for some reason.

Haha! Yeah...it'd be easier to learn something if I could decide which of us is the wife...? These descriptions don't help.

Secret Santa brought me a robot made from circuitry and a brush that when you have made it sweeps the floor for you. Best :)

Mine did not arrive, but I've had a wonderful Christmas Day nonetheless, really loved taking part and shopping for my victim (with a special shout out to Ange for inspiration!) and I received some acebest non-secret Santa things, including an apron (I'd asked for one, feminism fans) and salt and pepper shakers in the shape of toadstools which I may have hinted about. Plus the best snow globe EVER from Jazzy G, which I will have to wait for a better data signal to include pictures of. It deserves it.

More pics of your gifts, peeps! Flis's is all kinds of weird and amazing! And slightly creepy.

I've got a mobile phone camera without a data lead so my present is extra secret. Except our very own former Newcastle United striker sent me a Newcastle United rubber duck and a little book of Newcastle United, so now it's very secret. Thank you Malcolm McDonald, both presents came before Xmas, some how; Amazon Prime must be worth the money. Also I was too scared to take the cardboard off in case Amazon forgot to wrap them, they didn't; it was a double unwrapping. Awesome presents, thank you.

I got a Zombie Priest action figure thingie, no idea from who though! Very well kept secret - I very nearly couldn't get it from the collection office at Royal Mail though because it had GazChap on it instead of my real name. Thanks Santa!

Fortunately, I do actually sign my name as GazChap so I could point the Royal Mail dude to my driving licence and say "look, it says GazChap there!"

Bah, that Amazon told you my name, hurrah that you got them both before christmas, my amazon status, still has the little book as

Quote:
Preparing for dispatch
Delivery Estimate: 7 Jan 2012

Which is odd. It is the new version of that book you got? I wonder if you got the old version (after I had placed the order, they told me it was out of stock, which is why the delivery time was changed.

As for what I got, It was a magic ufo thing. When I was in London this summer, I went to the science museum, and the shop had them there, I almost bought one, but thought that it cost too much. So it's almost the perfect present (something that you'd like, but would never buy for yourself) Also good secret stalking, bit worried how much else you know about me!

Malc

I purposefully didn't include a card as well, so you didn't guess.

I hope it was ok. I thought it was lovely and snuggly and I was impressed with how large it was when it came. Did you find the gum tucked inside?

@Jazzy: next year, if you're running it, we can split the participants into two secret groups and handle one group each. You can organise between one set of peoria including me, and vice versa. That way you don't miss out on the fun.

@Dear Craster, I tried to edit my precious post about five times on tapatalk, but it won't save my edits. xxx

Woohoo, a pretty good guess then if I dont say so myself. This should make everyone else's a lot easier to workout/guess.

Malaboob's (and A.N. Other) is either from me or flis judging by the postage stamp (or it may be a cunning ploy to make him think that ;)).

Mimi had Grim...

I reckon Zardoz probably got himself as no one else would want to have him.

Any dildos, editable underpants, willy shaped chocolates etc are probably from Malc. Edit. If Amazon didnt reveal his name :D

Any other guesses?

Well many thanks to my SS assignee! I received the following bumper box:
Attachment:
before.jpg

I spread the opening of the gifts through-out the day for maximum Christmas release. They were, in order:

1) Two AAA batteries. Clearly thoughtfully thinking of any possible remote control failures during the marathon Christmas period.

2) A "Kazoo". Not a large singing lady but a musical instrument. I tried blowing through it but nothing happened. I tried covering the obvious holes for a similar outcome. I inserted a AAA battery into one end but it just fell out of the other. Apparently one needs to "hum" into it. Little did I know when I awoke Christmas morn that I would be spending an hour trying to hum God Save The Queen into a Kazoo.

3) A large box of Drumsticks. The only kind of Drumsticks that should come in a box. BOOM!. Indeed.

4) A Pac-Man alarm clock. I still haven't actually tried it yet but I presume that it takes two AAA batteries? (It would be very funny if it didn't). It apparently projects "authentic Pac-Man noises". So I shall certainly place it beyond arm's reach when I need to urgently be awoken.

5) Some CDs by Wilco, Neil Young, Nick Cave, and someone called Battles. I have lots of the first three artist's albums but not any of the ones I've been sent. How did Santa know?

Huge thanks to my Secret Santa! :munkeh:

Right I've unwrapped my secret santa present! I got a handlebar moustache and an elastic band gun. Sitting home alone since the girlfriend is on nightshift. Just in from my parents after drinking lots of wine, now drinking beer and wandering around the house wearing my handlebar moustache and feeling pretty fly. The sticky bit is one go only so might need to try and see if i can do something to make it reusable again for hogmany, I look well butch.
The hat is one I got for Christmas from my parents and I felt it set the moustache off perfectly.
Thanks Santa, I feel like I should be drinking neat whisky and smoking cigarillos. Just like any weeknight, really.
