He's basically bought a quite nice, slightly customised Rolls Royce; which could indeed be hired out for things like weddings but not for a much higher price than any other Rolls Royce would command. He'll make pretty much the same with it when he drops all connections to Jimmy Saville as he would've anyway; the only difference is that he's massively over-paid to buy the thing in the first place because he's a fucking idiot. |

Right, so he was obviously just a "fucking idiot" with a shit business plan, there was no element of philanthropy involved in his decision to buy the car at the charity auction. I think trying to get any money back is a fool's errand but I can't help but feel a bit sorry for him. |

Now that you've brought it up though, from the article alone he's rocked up to moan purely and only about the potential money he's lost; and to talk about how he can't tell his wife about the money he spent because she'll go mad. I don't care especially, it's not like I know the guy or he will ever read any of this but I was really just pointing out a slightly different interpretation of the facts. He bought the car as he says "on a whim" not as some sort of hard-headed business decision which he deserved to have backfire on him. I'd tend towards the view that his motives were probably, at least in part, charitable. |

Jimmy Savile's family have had the gravestone removed along with the flowers as a mark of respect. It just leaves a small hole and no bush around it. Just what he would have wanted. I think the peel thing is that he didn't know she was underage/she told him he was older. It was in his biography that came out years ago so it's a bit odd they're dragging it up now. Either way, it seems pretty clear he wasn't out looking for underage girls on purpose.... |

If you're going to lock someone in a room until the sufficiently violate jimmy saviles corpse, I'm not sure that them being predisposed to necrophilia before entering the room would be necessary. These flaws and questions need to be ironed out before we implement it but they are minor snags in an otherwise excellent proposal. |
