BUMP! Stock car series starts tonight.

The Calendar is:
-Sunset Speedway (oval) 23/11/11
-Benchmark Speedway (oval) 30/11/11
-Road America (road course)
-Sedona (oval)
-Infineon (road course)
-Motegi (oval)
-Indianapolis (oval)

Cars are either the Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS or Ford Fusion SS, UNTUNED. Decorate them though!

Race length determined by the track, but will be 15 or 20 for the ovals and 10 for the road courses.

A spreadsheet of the current standings is in the first post.

Oh, by 'stock' I thought you meant stock cars, not stock cars. I can't do point 1 so I'll have to drive the stock stock car.

Is turning on damage for next time a good idea? not in the series events, just the friendlies. I only suggedt it because it might help to curb my ambitious overtaking maneuvers. For which I am still sorry... :facepalm:

It has mixed results. With damage on, I will tend to be more cautious, however some people will still be quite gung-ho - this can cause race-ruining damage for multiple parties.

Imagine if damage was on for that race where me, you and Chinny were side by side going into that hairpin at Sedona. :DD

I'd much prefer 2 x 15 lap races than 15 x 2 lap races.

I also prefer this, but the issue being for some people is that if you fuck up in a short race at least there's another one coming right up. Because of the varying skill levels I think it would put people off.

Yeah, long races are great fun, so long as you don't crash out on the first bend. Then again, such is the laid-back nature of videogaming fun, combined with the excellent Forza 4 user interface, you could always just leave the race back to the lobby and grab a cup of tea/beer whilst the more capable folk finish their race.
