Saw Stewart Lee last night. Has a short spot where he reads out some criticism, as per his newsletter. Pundabaya, and the forum, made the list, to my delight.

So, "Driver: San Francisco" then.

It's actually pretty good! Generic mission based, open world, driving game, but it is very polished and the game mechanics are very well done. Cars handle well, the story is pretty good so far, the "shifting" element is nicely slotted in to the story. Two thumbs up so far, just finished the first chapter and I expect it to get very samey, but worth a look now it is cheap.

ZOMG, forgot to mention - two mornings ago, got downstairs and wandered into the shower room, thought there was a large leaf in the toilet - turned out it was a mouse. WTF, eh?

Ah, got it - from his site:

Quote:
“I spent the entire time thinking of how much I want to punch Stewart Lee in the face instead of laughing. He does have an incredibly punchable face, doesn't he? (I could just close my eyes, but fantasizing about punching Stewart Lee is still more fun than sitting in complete, stony silence.) Fucking smug-faced cunt.” Pudabaya, beexcellenttoeachother.com

He added the website in the act to heighten the effect.

Oh, MY!

Is BBT any good?

It's very good indeed.

I have to confess I'm sceptical - I've seen a few minutes of a few episodes, and it largely seems to be tired nerd jokes. Completely happy to be wrong, though, as ever.

"It's like living with MaliA" MrsA.

It's very good. Very, very good. Grab the first season on DVD.

Was this before or after you watched the local deprived youths ballet school practise?

Normally, I wouldn't write in such a way as to possibly appear to condone such behaviour but tonight I did have a bit of a giggle as we walked past the eight tent shanty town erected outside Loch Fyne and around the Christmas tree in the centre of Leeds. Whilst the stalwart harbinger of great socialist light was in his tent, writing his blog or something, his endeavours were disturbed by a mid thirties whale that Ahab would lose sleep over belly flopping onto his shelter ( probably made in China). Seconds later, I kid you not, Neil from the Young Ones unfolded himself from the plastic canvas, hand rolled cigarette of freedom dangling from his lips. 'Sorry' said Ahab's quarry, before diving through the waves of 10pm traffic to be lost. For now.

I've never considered dance to be a serious art form.

I've never considered dance to be a serious art form.

That, notably, wasn't the question.

I've restarted with Terra Novas, and am half way through ep 7. There's now a song about spiders.

Yes it was, although the meeting in the jungle might kick start some plot...

As an aside, and in no way going for page 100, Leeds is a pretty nice city. There's a lot of cool things to go see, some nice food places, at least four good pubs. And it's a comfortable distance from here. I'm wanting more and more to stay up here. But I do miss the ability to go to London to do the music quiz and things like that. My accent is changing, too. Erk.

I had a properly awesome time in Leeds, in the Armory and their secret firearms store under the multistorey car park next door.

I've been there twice, and was drunk both times...

Once in 1999 and once in 2005

My foot isn't currently fractured, but the nurse did say that at some point in the past, I'd broken it. Which was news to me. I'm awaiting my superpowers now.

Contextually, I spent an hour in hospital today due to hobbling about.

Mrs K sent you a text telling you to say that, didn't she? :)

Have you actually watched it, out of interest?
