Right, I've been through the suggestions. Some very good ones there, but obviously the list had to be culled to fit into a poll. So if your suggestion's not in there, it's because it's shit.

I told you, man, we've got one in the family, so it's disqualified. I'm gutted, but them's the rules

Whoever came up with the winning name gets an Honourable Mention on the birth certificate.

Years later, young Master L asks his father where his name came from. Mr L spins some yarn about heroic war vetern shot in the Crimea to hide embarrassment that it was actually a poll on the Internet.

(Still, I have a lingering fear that my brother and I were named after characters in the 'Archers')

It is Lewis. A mighty surname reflecting the Irish and Welsh history of the family, eh.

Voted Benjamin but consider just "Ben", he's only going to end up shortening it his entirely life anyway, why not save him the trouble and give him a free minor talking point.

Then Derren Brown can impress him by saying "You've never been a Benjamin, have you?"

In that case, you may as well give him the full name, so he gets to use both if he wants to.

Not really because Ben is a much better name. You could call him BenjaminGaywood as a first name if you like but it'd be annoying when he had to provide the full thing.

I'm afraid I find that name offensive. The term "wood" is disgusting and I'm going to write to Microsoft complaining that all references to it are removed from everything, ever.

My Dad's middle name is Samuel, so my Grand Parents were obviously really early to the party!
