I've got sun burnt feet.

But I'm half pissed and just about to go go out again!

I dyed my hair various shades of blue (yay).

But now my nails and towels are always blue.

Also, not entirely sure how it'll go down at workout meh.

Just before I went bald to the point there was no hiding it I dyed my hair blue. Sadly I skipped the part of the instructions where the Vaseline comes into play and ended up with a blue head. And blue pillows, and blue sink etc.

It's already grey, Bobby, that's why I dyed it... Stupid getting old. Anyway, silver/grey is totally in now so it'll be fine!

My boss was working from home today and replied to an email that I'd sent to a few people saying "Ross, we'll talk about this email tomorrow"

Is it a Yay, or is it a Nay? Tune in tomorrow for the thrilling conclusion of this ongoing saga.

I was basically slagging off another company but it may have undermined my boss... Unintentionally of course, but then she may agree with me? We'll see.

I bought some cheap tee-shirts from Matalan for my holiday in Spain last month. We went out one night to a really nice place that had these white leather chairs, food was great and we had a really good time. When I got to leave I noticed my chair was stained red from the tee-shirt! I hadn't sweated and there was no dye on me.

Just had dentistry. The filling didn't hurt, and the crown didn't hurt even without anaesthetic, but holy shit on a stick the cleaning part hurt. So much blood!

Yeah, I've had numerous fillings and two extractions and they don't bother me at all (with anaesthetic, obvs.) but the scale and polish they do while they wait for the anaesthetic to kick in is some of the most uncomfortable shit ever.

I just close my eyes and let them get on with it.

Almost there... I've got a probation review now as I've been here for more than 8 weeks now.

Fingers crossed I don't have to clear my desk on the way out.

I wouldn't worry about that. They're getting you into the meeting room just so they can clear your desk whilst you're not looking. You can collect your comedy mug and collection of stolen highlighter pens outside. Simon has stolen your USB desk fan.

Well, it turns out it's a nay. My probation has been extended by four weeks. In fairness, they were really nice about it and praised me for loads of stuff. Just some other stuff, including that email, that aren't so great.

They also tried to give me a "good" in their tick boxes for attendance. I argued that I've not had a day off so that should be a "very good".

They changed it... Small victories I suppose?

Today has been shit. :(

Sorry to hear that Vision. :(
Still, sounds like a lot of positives there; just concentrate obsessively on the stuff they've highlighted over the next 4 weeks, act enthusiastic/think
Enthusiastic and you're home and dry.

Yeah, show them you're not deterred by the outcome of the meeting. Really kiss arse and keep your nose clean until you're in then take the absolute piss.

I agree with the two statements above. I think you just need to come in beaming with positive attitude and just keep your nose clean and be super-professional.

Either that, or someone who's been exposed to too much talking about arses while playing games with Dimrill, Perkies and Zardoz.

Things I did not want to ever know.

In the last 24 hours our shower stopped working (while I was using it) and our washing machine flooded in the utility. Joans has fixed the washing machine and fitted a new shower too (he also cooked dinner!)

Take the positives out of today, they could have terminated your employment, its an easy get out for companies to do this at probation meetings.

They didn't, the message here is that they like you and what you have done to date, but there are one or two things that you can do a bit better or maybe not at all.

I don't know the context of the email you sent, but I would guess if you had sent something like that in 6 months time they wouldn't have been much issue, at this point you are new and they have a platform in the probation process so have raised it.

No need to kiss ass, just listen to the feedback and act on it,

Air flow, I presume. Not that the PS4 needs it. It's not the size and aesthetic of an old VHS player like the 'Bone.

Mine does. Frequently gets significantly louder than the Xbox and has overheated on several occasions. Less boxed in than the one in the picture, too.
