Indeed she did, but she might have lied. This isn't a spoiler or anything, I have no clue, it's just that they very rarely if ever kill a main character off-screen.

Kind of a shit episode this last one. The way

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
Arya's and Mereen siege were solved were kind of crap. In the first instance, it looked so silly that Arya's enemy became all terminator, and how boring it all resolved. As for Mereen, we were guessing what kind of Deus Ex Machina was going to solve the siege, either Dany or the Ironborn fleet. They writers managed to do it in the least exciting way

Totally agree about the Terminator comparison. I said exactly the same to my wife when I saw it.

Yeah, not sure what's happening with that guy. I had to look up why he was in that condition at the start of the season as I couldn't remember, and it seems a bizarre storyline to be getting so little development other than the fact that he's... there.

Both Clegane brothers saved the episode.

Yep. Double Clegane action.

Also,

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
The Brotherhood! We've not seen them in ages! Or Thoros and Beric. I love those guys.

Arya's opponent looked weird, but it was a good way for her to win against someone who outmatched her, and played back to most of the past events.

Always hard to tell what yer Faceless Man is thinking. Was that a hint of a smile?

Brienne and Jamie are ace. As are Bronn and Podrick.

The Mereen bits were a tad anticlimactic, but Dinklage was as entertaining as ever.

Has the stuff with Dorne just been shelved?

Good week with the Sparrow and Cersei. Excellent Mountainage, and it's good to see Cersei getting ready to fight as she has the last thing she cares about (Tommen) taken from her. I wonder what the secret she knows is? Something about the High Sparrow? Or Joffrey's death?

If the last two(?) episodes don't kick all these things off majorly, we riot!

If there are really only 14 episodes to go they better tighten things up a bit.

Apparently there are rumoured to be 7 episodes next season instead of 10.

The one after...

There's no fucking way they'll just let it run for two more shorter seasons.

I mean, that seems right, but apparently filming this season was a fucking nightmare. So shortening it seems viable. More money money.
