My long dead other D&D group seems like it might be reforming, possibly to go through the Curse of Strahd adventure. My comrades in Rummage Inc will always take priority though!

She knows as well as I that it saved my life. And also made the path safer behind me.

Oh, MakeItMicro? I remember them, they closed down 20 years ago after that horrible incident. The police never did get to the bottom of that, did they?

I was just wondering that when we took that short rest, did Myptik do his ritual to find his familiar. It's the sort of private thing he'd do without anyone really noticing he'd done it. *cough*

I can’t yet. Demi Moore kindly let me swap it out for one of the unprepared spells I’ve never used. But I can’t prepare it until we have un resto longo.

Believe you me, as soon as I can do it I’ll be doing it

Ohh, what sort of animal do you have in mind? Looking at the spell it gives you all kind of handy features ( being able to see through it's sense, etc )

I wonder what it’ll be…

Same, particularly since he DMs three of those games. I wouldn’t be doing it any justice if I tried to DM multiple games on an ongoing basis, imagine trying to prep for three different games, worlds, characters, maps etc every week 8)

Of course you can have them take a different shape if it suits the situation by recasting the spell before returning them to their cat form by casting again. That’s what the wizard in campaign 2 of critical role does, his familiar is a cat called Frumpkin but he sometimes turns into an octopus or a bird.

Yeah I read you could change them by casting again but I assumed it was permanent. Didn’t think about just changing them back again…

The situation is we need to have a squirrel to taunt a druid with bladder control issues.

I'm just glad that Shuu cleaned him up afterwards. Didn't stop that dirt-musty smell though.

I've mentioned this before, but I love how Gill starts the night sitting fully upright but as she gets further and further into her Plots&Schemes, she hunches over like her Zardovatar.

I imagine Zardoth stinks all the time, of various things but always gamey.

Definitely turning more feral despite the allure of getting his mitts on more humanoid trinkets.

This is me, only instead I hastily press to pause the map and then frantically check to see exactly what you’ve accidentally triggered.

There was one time you were having an in depth conversation near a baddy but I was enjoying the conversation too much to activate the baddy :DD
