Well we're all kicking our heels in Clark Ashton Smith's cavern looking at an horrific meat statue of a human caught between frames.

I want to harvest some ears tonight.

I was hoping my metul dice would arrive today as they entered the country on Saturday night, but the Royal Mail have declined to try and deliver them today.

Gooder news, my etsy order of two more sets of pretty coloured ones shipped out from Thailand today!

Here in this cave lies a Wizard (who's dead?)
Touch it, see it
Whoa
Here in this cave is a Bard who is wet
Touch it, feel it
Green hell

I think we can only officiallly level up during a long rest iirc from our prep on the first sesh. So hopefully some merciful deity of dice will allow us to crawl into a shrubbery and lick each other.

Hmmm we're a bit tougher so should I take on another healing spell (Healing Wave) or something horrible like Ice Knife (ranged damage which causes further damage to surrounding things) or maybe THUNDERWAVE?

I've just thought, if I took THUNDERWAVE I could try stuff like Wild Shape into something small and fast, dash amongst the BAD MEN then pop back to Druid then THUNDERWAVE!

I'm leaning towards THUNDERWAVE.

Does thunderwave damage or just fling em around? I can see a drawback in your plan:

1. transform into a rat and scuttle in amongst mob
2. transform back
3. THUNDERWAVE!
4. doesn't work/rolls badly
5. death by mob

Ice Knife sounds canny good like. area of effect!

I could see a better option as:

1. transform into giant spider
2. scuttle over to mob
3. web em up good
4. dissolve them with your enzymes
5. suck up the juices
6. transform back into a pixie
7. use Ice Dagger to freeze remains for ingestion later.

I'm wondering whether to swap from my Great Axe to an Warhammer. If Skyrim can be taken into account, there's bound to be something that can't be hurt with slashy damage.

I'm not sure what that supplement is so probably best to just leave it off.

If you're proficient in Warhammers, you can make this change but you'll need to acquire a warhammer.

Anyone need a distraction that can be heard 300 feet away? THUNDERWAVE!

Combine that with my Mask of the Wild trait and I can be a one elf ambush!

Just be ready to rush in and help in case I do a shitty roll x

Might also come in handy for shifting other stuff too

"A wave of thunderous force sweeps out from you. Each creature in a 15-foot cube originating from you must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 2d8 thunder damage and is pushed 10 feet away from you. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and isn’t pushed. In addition, unsecured objects that are completely within the area of effect are automatically pushed 10 feet away from you by the spell’s effect, and the spell emits a thunderous boom audible out to 300 feet."

I suppose it'll come into its own if we're ever climbing a path around a mountain/cliff.

And then if there's loads of rocks and snow on the dangerous mountain path I can use THUNDERWAVE to safely clear our way too.
