SDG! Wand of Magic Missile question - by the description of the spell, it looks like Magic Missle always hits, as long as I can see the enemy. So does that mean I can use the wand to cast cast at level 6 and therefore be certain of causing 8d4+8 damage?

Yes, magic missiles always hit their target with no saving throw so that would be possible when the wand is charged, which it is at the moment.

I didn't even notice that! That's proper cool.

Rummage Inc look like a proper set of tooled-up, blinged-out hard cases now. Effortlessly stomping Ghouls into the mud, left, right and centre. We're nigh-on invincible now!

Thanks, I'd meant to come back to this :)

You can do, and it reveals that they're very pretty and fantastically sparkly but pretty much worthless. You would be able to use your jewelers tools to incorporate them as decorative touches into your crafted items though, and when Gundren and Nundro see what you're examining they tell you they'd be happy to continue providing you with a supply of these types of crystals if they mine more of them out.

Okay, I'm going to forcibly hold Ivo down and drill them into his front teeth so he's got a jewel grill.

Looking at our relevant strength scores, that would probably be pretty easy for you.

I'm going to go with Conjure Animals for one of my 1st lvl3 Druid spells:

https://roll20.net/compendium/dnd5e/Conjure%20Animals

...we'll be at the mercy of the DM's choices though rather than me electing what critters we want to help us.

Up to Challenge Rating 2 though! My wild shape max is 1 at the moment.

Awesome! Does that mean you can summon 2 bears, and then turn into a bear, and then we'd have 3 bears?

Unless sdg gives us 2 camels, yes.

Well, no.... it's not as sweet as that. The animal choices are at the mercy of the DM. I just get to ask for 1 CR2 or lower, 2 CR1's or lower, 4 CR 1/2 or lower or 8! CR 1/4's or lower... Shame I can't stipulate what we get but it will lead to much fun when we get things like 8 guinea pigs to send into the breech. At least we'll have a distraction :D

I'll probably make up some rollable tables to determine what creature is summoned.

I've found a good handout that has stat blocks for all of the creatures, I'll share it in Discord so you don't have to scramble around trying to find them when they appear.

Makes mental note to add a conjure animals section to the Foundry tokens.

Immediately forgets.

Aaah, getcha! So we might have you as a bear, and then a giant wasp, 2 giant goats and a crocodile. To be honest, that sounds like even more fun than 3 bears.

I'd like to make a suggestion, now that the campaign is becoming more of a sandbox. Could one of you take session notes each week and share them either here, or in the Discord, or in Legend Keeper? I'm thinking basically a rough outline of what happens in the session - where you were, any lore or exposition you learned, quests received or completed etc so that I can refer back to it to remind myself of what you know, have done, and where you've been.

I don't mind who does it, if you want to take turns each I could award an inspiration point each Monday to the person who recorded the session notes from the previous week. If one person wants to do it all the time, we could do similar but that person could choose who benefits from the inspiration that week?

Regardless of where you share the notes, I'll put them into Legend Keeper as separate entries under a campaign header so they'll be available to read back through to all of you as a reminder and also as a nice bit of nostalgia.

Thanks all! We solved a murder, a burglary, AND a blackmailing, all thanks to our innovative mind-reading/spider form-based investigation technique.

Although frankly, I'm a bit disappointed that after Mirak's disappearance, no one thought to actually search his house.

I totally missed what happened, all of a sudden there was a quiet wizard!

I would like to see the moment Ivo and his mage hand made a catchers dive for a flying key launched from a late middle aged insane woman’s brassiere while Shuu was casting heat metal.

I went downstairs after the game and my wife revealed she’d found one of my D&D books in a cupboard down there. The same D&D book I bought myself a couple of weeks ago. So now I have two.

Your attempts at sabotaging the party this week were actually stopped by the Danger Mouse.

It was nice to see Shuu’s new found confidence when it came to meeting people.

Lawful good character wants to let someone who breaks the law off as “they’ve served their time” for completely different crimes perpetrated a decade ago.
Only average intelligence yet consistently comes up with devious plans.
Begs for inspiration.

Very suspicious.
