Unless anyone wants the rings, I suggest we liquidate them and blow the cash on bribes and fancy hotel rooms

Thank you sdg, that was awesome! Those ghouls didn't know what hit them, although I suspect that if we'd come up from the south and couldn't have channeled them like that we'd have had a much more tricky time of it.

Level five Ivo is significantly more powerful than level four, with an extra spell, an couple of extra proficiencies and twice as much Eldritch Blasting per turn!

Had you went north to the barracks when you first entered the caves instead of going east to the spore room, you’d have encountered the three ghouls who’d have attacked and then been joined by the others at two per round until the fight was over, from two different directions. It had potential to be a pretty nasty encounter but no problem at all for the heroes of Wave Echo Cave.

We certainly are awesome!

Seeing as there is no temple or shrine within Triboar, would building a small shrine to Xunt be possible? Ivo feels like there are lost souls here in need of saving.

If you find a spot you like you can either ask the landowner or ask Darathra if she has a spot.

Actually, I wonder if Suddenly Persuasive Ivo might not quite fancy a bit of bling. A couple of platinum rings might be handy in browbeating the locals.

Actually, I seem to remember a ruby earring and a jade frog as well. Surely that much bling would give ol' Ivo advantage on charisma checks?

Well played Rummage Inc.! :metul:

Moonbeam gets an extra D10 damage now at lvl3!

There are some excellent new spells available... I was very distracted going through them last night :D Water Walk looks very handy for all of us (plus an extra 5 beings) gives the ability to move across any liquid surface - such as water, acid, mud, snow, Quicksand, or lava (get heat damage) - as if it were harmless solid ground!

Two tasty lightning attack spells too.

I actually missed the puzzle box’s explanation as the video went glitchy then, I gather it was just a red herring though?

Now we’ve ‘unlocked’ Placetown and had a chat with Person & Bloke our priority is getting me that magic bow please x

Also looks like D&D beyond wants me to pay (somewhere) for me to select a lot of spells from my card set.

It’s either a willing creature or a 10-ft cube area. Means it can’t be detected by divination magic or scrying sensors for 8 hours. Costs 25GP per casting though.

Yeah I had that for the divination school. It was £3 or something so

I had to pay for the privilege of choosing Circle of the Moon too! Outrageous!

Edit:

Ah Gaseous Form is only available for the Circle of Land (Underdark) sect.

I don't think so, because it's not a straightforward bonus. If you decide to disguise yourself, you might roll a deception check to fool a guard, an intelligence check to see if you can figure out how best to create a disguise, or even a dexterity or performance check to see how well you apply the disguise or act in character. Anytime you do anything like that and use the disguise kit, we'll need to remember that you are proficient and therefore get your proficiency bonus.

Ivo might have gone a bit down the "Medieval Cardinal" route, with his ring of protection , his fancy glass rod, his pendant of Giant Speech and his various blings.

I hope the fact that you genuinely used an elaborate trap of a Terry's chocolate orange scented illusion of a Terry's chocolate orange to tempt unseen enemies out into the open helps you to understand why I usually wait for you to specifically announce to me what your plan is. I like to wait and see if the idea being workshopped is joke or a serious plan and sometimes that line is vaguer than you'd expect :DD

SDG! Wand of Magic Missile question - by the description of the spell, it looks like Magic Missle always hits, as long as I can see the enemy. So does that mean I can use the wand to cast cast at level 6 and therefore be certain of causing 8d4+8 damage?
