Ha! You and Joans both! He actually has his dressing gown on, I think he is ready for bed. ;)

Possibly a hospital bed. I think that by this time each day (except the friday, but only just) I'd already started drinking, so my body has realised that I'm finally going to stop putting ridiculous amounts of alcohol and food into it and has decided to start the recovery process.

Excellent weekend. Many thanks to all for attending and being awesome.

Lovely to meet people I'd not met before, and to insult those I already knew.

For those of you who left on Sunday, you missed Bobby running a MafiaScum game that was so bad he made Myp's look professional. It was so bad that he eventually gave up and Mr Dave ran the last bit!

Also, congrats to 'Team Sausagefest + Mr Russ', who won the quiz.

I was amazed how early everyone seemed to manage to be up and about... I suspect the smell of bacon was largely responsible for that.

Me, too. Although, I had an excuse, having set world records earlier that day.

We did even better than that, we had (I think):
Rock Band 2 x 5
Rock Band 3 x 2
Rock Band
Lego Rock Band
Guitar Hero 5 x 2
Rock Band Track Pack Vol 2 (I think)
Possibly Beatles Rock Band?
and one pro guitar.

Yeah, there wasn't much rock banding this year.

Still at services. Thirsty, but all I can find to drink in the car is a can of gin & tonic Ange left in the back seat and a part bottle of vodka. Tempted to drink both.

Brilliant weekend all. Thanks so much to everyone for just being there, Curio for organising the weekend, the quiz, and mafia games. Bobby, myp and Russ for mafia games, flis, MrsA, and Jasmine for being all cleany and stuff, and Miss Malabar for forgiving me (ish) for almost killing her.

Awesome weekend, I love you all! Really good to see everyone again, and meet those who I hadn't met before. Managed to drive down the M1, stop off at Watford go shopping for my wife's birthday, and get home via Waitrose in one piece as many pieces that set off. Bought a Waitrose rotisserie chicken, have had one bite and now I feel sick. :(

-1 sleeps to go!

Bonus points to Ange for resisting the thirty seconds of "morning loving" this year. She loses them again by turning up outside our (Craster and me) bedroom window (the only one on the ground floor) at 6am after having been locked out, wanting to be let back in. The exchange went:
Ange: Hello? It's Ange. Will you let me in, please?
Grim... [assuming, as you would, that Ange was knocking on the bedroom door]: Yeah, come in, what's up?
[Ange thinks we mean the front door, and wanders off]
[Pause]
Grim...: Did I dream that?
Craster: I don't think so, because I heard her too.
Grim...: Ange?
Craster: Ange?
Grim...: Ange?
Craster: What was she doing outside?
Grim...: Outside‽ I thought she was at the door?
Craster: No, I don't think so. It was too loud.
Grim...: What the fuck would she be doing outside?
Craster: Right?
Grim...: Ange?
[Pause]
Craster: Maybe it was a dream. Weird.
Ange [sounding like she was in the room]: Hello? It's Ange. Will you let me in, please?
Grim...: What the fuck?
Craster [somewhat more sensible]: Where are you?
Ange: Outside. The door's locked.
[Craster then goes and presents himself in his bedwear to Ange and Malabelm]

Brilliant.

"5 piece Indie band "Cibrushille" split yesterday after it emerged that founder member and lead theremin player, Mr Dave, was having affairs with all the other band members."

Looks better with Dave cropped out, I think. His pose is a little too dynamic compared to the sombre mood of everyone else.

Also, that's fantastic.

It looks like Bobby just happened to be shuffling past when you took the photo. That must be one of the only moments when he didn't have any alcohol in his hand/mouth/nose.
Also, where are Steve's legs?

Admittedly, without Dave in the frame, you'd have needed a much bigger camera to capture everyone.

The trick is to pretend that instead of jumping up onto a wall, someone's just shoved a broom handle through his jacket sleeves.

I now laugh just looking at Bobby's face.

I know, I know, but he didn't always have that effect on me. Now though I see him lifting his head up every time Myp wants another group to pay attention in mafiabelm.

Last I heard they were taking a ridiculously convoluted route up north. I've sent Flis a text to see if there's been any news about the boat home.

Cheers for the weekend, guys. It was most excellent.
