The correct units of measurement for awesome are milliMalis, where MaliA=1 milliMali.

I'm pretty sure that's not right, it was the best date for the majority. It wasn't about being a popularity contest.

But if it was, I'd be Prom Queen and you'd be in the corner making a Venn diagram of the students, to see if any females fell into the "could possibly have a chance with" area. Like, seriously...Whatever.

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!

Curio, let us know as soon as you've done some sums. /Nag

Had a thought earlier, what about having the bbq on the Sat afternoon, so those that need to leave on the Sun don't miss out and those that just want to come up for the day on the Sat can just bring some meat with them so everyone gets fed?

Righto, it's time to actually pay for this now.

I think we have enough poeple that 80 quid per person should cover it. If that means we go over the total required then all proceeds can either be returned equally between participants, or (my preference) put into a slush fund for buying staples such as bread, milk and other such foodstuffs.

So, if you paid a deposit of 25 then you'll just need 55 quid each, otherwise it's the full 80. Babies come for free.

let me know if I've made any colossal errors, or if I have failed to register your payment of a deposit (or if you need my bank details).

Cheers in advance, and I look forward to seeing you there!

I get paid on Friday, so I can cover people for a limited amount of time. The 26th will be fine.

Just in case I do come (which I'm not saying I can), have you included the extra bill for the coal and electric this time?

Yes, this time I have indeed included all costs.

Also, people are still welcome to come even if they can't commit to paying right now (as long as sufficient people do pay now).

Cheers. Money received from Gazchap, Myp and Joans.

First page slightly updated. Do let me know if I've miscounted anything.

Again, no prior interest or meet experience is required. Do come along! Fun will be had!

If I just edit your first post to say that I've paid, but don't actually give you any money, how likely are you to notice?

Excellent.

More seriously, I'll fire the money over this evening. I would do it now, but HSBC are massive fuckbags who've decided to turn their highly useful internet banking into a rotting pile of dogshit.

I agree with GJ about having a BBQ on the Saturday afternoon :)

Also Curio, your point about the communal items such as tea, milk etc is a good one. We grossly overcatered last time. Could we go further and take a leaf out of the Grim... BBQ bible? Didn't everyone get a list of items to bring to that? Did it work ok?

apart from the gross over catering, yes.

I don't think that is needed, bring what you think you will drink/eat and drink/eat it. If you want to bring more for other people* then by all means do so, but don't be upset if there is food left over.

*I am looking at people who may work somewhere near a distillery**

It was a very good idea in principal, I think that everyone catering for 5 was the problem.

Maybe if people just bring what they want to eat, and then something to share it would work better?

But by crikey the amount of wine poured away.

I'm not complaining with the amount of crisps I took back with me though :)

Will there be a super chilli cook off again?

Of peeps who said they were definitely coming, more casheroonies are required from:

Mr Dave
MaliA - 25rec
MrsA - 25rec
Kalmar - 25rec
Gilly
Jen
Malabelm - 25rec
Ms Malabelm - 25rec
Craster - 25rec
Grim... - 25rec
MetalAngel - 25rec
Mrs MetalAngel - 25rec
Flis
Ramsea

If you have contacted me in any fashion saying it will be received by X date, or whatever, that's cool. Can other people either lob cash in my direction or let me know their situation. It's no problem if you can't pay for a little while (I know most jobs pay staff near the end of the month), but please do let me know.

Also, anyone else is still more than welcome, but again let me know if at all possible.

Would it be OK to pass on money at the pub quiz. My bank seem to insist on delaying every payment is make to check for fraud., so it would probably be quicker too.

If anyone is fo' reelz put off because of the price, there is a little money in the Beex War Chest that can help out, so just PM me.

I'll give you some hard cash if I come to the quiz, Curio, if not I'll paypal it to you the next day.
