Yes.

Sorry, been a bit busy. Also slightly worried by the number of votes. Don't want to go and book something if the costs are going to spiral. Could really do with more definite numbers.

I can't commit to anything for as long as I'm unemployed, sadly. Just can't spare money even for a deposit.

I haven't voted, I can't possibly know for certain what I'll be doing then, but I will come if I can.

Sod I'll vote that I can do both.

As soon as you ask for money I will pay it...

Once it's paid for then it's easier to tell Pauline that I simply have to go :)

I can do both dates, but only voted for one as I'm an idiot.

After some discussion, me and GJ (who have both voted for the 30th) would be able to do the other weekend if that suits more people.

It's only been a few days since the poll was added, I guess.

What I don't understand is peoples lack of willingness to commit, how long do people want to wait to see if you get a better offer....?

Can you afford £75 - £100, yes, are you free on the 30/09 or 16/10, yes. Waiting to see what else you might have planned, at some point in the future, maybe, is a load of bollocks.

I'd like to think that more people will come out of the woodwork if we get a date, but it would be good to hear of more who want to come before we set one.

How many came last time? Twenty-something?
How many of those were people's partners that either don't have an account, or are unlikely to have logged in just to vote? 5 or 6?
I don't think the number of votes is that accurate a reflection of attendance, but we do need to work out some dates and numbers pretty soon.

Correct. I'm not voting simply because I hate you all now, and not because I have no idea of my work/living/travel status that far from now.

In. for whenever. So long as the amount of people isn't such that it's hugely expensive.

You guys make me lol.

I'll call the guy tomorrow and ask for exact costings for the latter weekend, unless anyone who is awesome can't make that one.

Then I post here, and then (probably) book it.

IF YOU BOOK IT, THEY WILL COME.

:D

Well, maybe you could drive up to my house and we'll take the Mundano from there - as it has a small cave system for a boot.

IN for either date, as long as it isn't £4,000 per person.

That would suit me better too, got an exam just after the second date, so aught to be revising really.

This was my plan!

But then stupid Ramsea said we had to go a wedding party thing on the 1st (for a wedding that is in August....). So now they get 2 special days and I have to watch everyone making it all about them, instead of all about me, on my fucking birthday! >:( :'(

Bastards....

Also: I apologise for my earlier comment when I basically accused *everyone ever* of being total flakes. Sorry 'bout that n shiz :luv:

As Myp said we're a yes for this. Just confirming, like. :)

I was previously nervous about the addition of babies, but then I remembered they're fun to play with and I can hand them back when they pooh/cry/vomit. And it's always good to have persons there with a lower mental age than myself. :)

Can someone with more times on their hands than me look back through this thread and summarise any dates that people have given that they DEFINITELY can't make. I'm happy enough that we haev enough people in general, but if there is one date that screws it up royally for more people, we'll avoid that one.

Gaywood and Crumpet - 30th only
Craster + Mrs C - Prefer 30th
Grim... - Can't do the 30th, but now he can.
Me & GJ - would prefer the 30th
Flis + Ramsea - Can't do the 30th (agh)
Apple Pie + Tart - would prefer the 14th

That's about it for people that have expressed a preference.

Does that mean we basically have to choose between Ramsea/Flis or Gaywood/Danielle?

It's like Sophie's Choice...

...if she hated both her kids

Crumpet is a man!? 8) And I thought Gaywood was your real name....

I don't want to go if I can't meet Doccy G so you gays all go and have fun! And I'll sulk, massively, and blame Ramsea for the fact I'm miserable (heh, nothing new there). Plus, he'll bring a decent camera and I don't like HD, soft, fuzzy focus suits me much better.

Hah, no! I was comparing you and I. Seeing as how Ramsea and Danielle hardly ever post.

Great, now we're in a self-effacing polite-off. And I appear to be losing. Which is fine, because of course I should lose, because flis is my superior in every way.

(Am I winning now?)
