This means I may be able to end my 18 year boycott of the product. I've not had one since the name change.

I think they've been knocking around for a while. They probably just wanted to use a trademark that Mars already owned.

Also remember that the American Marathon Bar was different to the UK version. The American Marathon was more like a thicker Curley Whirley and was no relation to the UK version.

It'd be great if they came back with the more paper-y wrapper instead of the more modern plastic, kind of horrible one.

I would suspect the papery ones would be more recycliebbable as well.

Pretty soon Snickers will have to be wrapped in lead so that newsagents don't have to display a sign saying;

"WARNING! Some of these chocolate bars are in the general vicinity of others that have peanuts in"

There's going to be a resurgence on quite a few old brand names in the coming months.

You'll even be able to get Opal Fruits for a short period again.

Only in Asda apparently.

I used to know a farmer called Giles. Apparently his parents were going to call him "Laine", but thought that kids might take the piss.

So they called him Giles. Because of course, nobody were going to call him "Farmer Giles" were they?

Ive heard vice versas have appeared twice in me missing them, Im not happy. It must be nearly 10 years, be honest half their appeal was the 20p price tag.

ActuallY I always wondered if they had done that. I was in France about 15 years ago and noticed that Twix's were called Raiders.
