I don't need a hard drive either. My 360 flashed red last night during playing a game. It works okay now but I feel the end may be nigh. I figured I'd sell it to CEX and get £90 for it.

The new 'arcade' machines are the non dodgy, quiet chipset aren't they?

Amazon have them for £149.99 can't imagine finding the bare bones unit for less than that. Surprise-me-do.

I notice it's £150 on Amazon but I was hoping LewieP might have some link to one at £150 with the entire back catalogue of games or something. Maybe I should look for a second hand one at CEX. Difficult to find an Arcade specifically though. Even then I'd only save about £10.

Why don't you sell kisses in the park toilets?

I got my 360 within 6 months.

There's no way I'd kiss your "park toilets", which I'm assured is some sort of disgusting euphemism.

You're selling a soon to break machine to CEX.

What gives you any confident about the one you're about to buy?

From what I've read it doesn't sound like the new chipset in the HDMI equipped ones is fixed, either. It still uses the same surface mount work on the same 90nm GPU, which is the common (thought not exclusive) source of RRoD failures. It does have the new extra heatsink, admittedly, but I don't think we'll see a true fix to the problem until either the 65nm replacement GPU units crop up or the rumoured possibly-final model with a single die with integrated CPU and GPU on a 65nm process.
