Nope it is a very sensible topic. Someone with your considerable life experience should know that.

I don't think you should be eating sweets like that, they will get under your falsies. ;)

Meh! Nah, still got a full house of toothpegs this end, my son. Private sector dentistry works wonders. :D

As I'm filling in this "Stuff what I've done to find employment" diary, I'm watching Horizon on the iPlayer, called 'What is Reality'. From 24:40 where a Physics person is describing how a quantum computer operates in a way I can understand. And it's really ticked me, as it involves hand waving and head nodding.

Hadn't thought to post about it here as I figured there's be as many hoping for my spontaenous death as there would to support me, hehe, but sponsorship page be here, and disgusting moving images containing my face and training progress be here.

All support met with inappropriate amounts of e-love and gratitude  :luv:

9 on the beep test is pretty good, isn't it? Compared with regular mortals, that must put you pretty high up. I imagine marathon runners have an above-average score though...

Don't think so Mr Squirt, the beep test is actually a really lousy indicator of marathon fitness, as it rewards people that can run fast over a short time, so really level 9 is a teeny bit above average, but nothing to get excited about. Chances are that someone could kick my arse over 15 minutes of beep testing, but die well before me over 10 miles of running :)
