Is Brian May running out of money? Confused.com and British Gas are both now running adverts with horrible butchered versions of Queen songs.

Oh, that's terrible :(

I did hear about it on the news earlier in the day, and heard that one of the trainers said 'it was like they'd been electrocuted' but didn't think for one minute that they perhaps had been electrocuted.

They've even bought Freddy back to life to flog Noodles in Japan.

Urrggghhh. Finally made it home at 4 having drunk various lager, cider, bitter, stout and two kinds of whisky.

4?! That was a long walk back, or did you stop at Baz's for a nightcap?

I felt mildly shitty for most of the day but got everything I needed to do done.

That sounds like a right mare for the stable owners. I hope they don't get saddled with a large electric bill, though I imagine it's probably gone up a bit.

Went out for lunch today... only one menu so I was trying to read it upside-down while Mrs Meaty read it.

In the end, she ordered a bacon-cheese burger while I, seeing the onion rings, ordered the 'ultimate' burger. I'd failed to notice that the ultimate didn't just have onion rings, it was also 12oz while the other burgers were all 6oz.

So, no need for dinner tonight, then.

Going go karting on Saturday. Will try not to do my back in. Then booze. Am I allowed to drink before go karting?

Seems I got the CAB gig, pending references.

Which is nice.

Will atone for teaching my friends' nine month old daughter that bashing an empty biscuit tin with a marracca is behaviour that is heavily rewarded. I'm the best babysitter.

Visited the gf over the weekend, was good, except for one excruciating moment.

Went to Stratford-upon-Avon on Saturday with her parents and visited many tearooms and much cake was eaten. But I did discover that my potential future father-in-law does not understand urinal etiquette. I go to the loo, there's two urinals and a toilet, I take one of the urinals and unzip. In comes in GF's dad before I have started my stream and takes up the urinal next to me.

WTF?

It took me a couple of moments before I could start the stream.

Congrats MaliA

Grats Malia on the level up.

Perfectly acceptable urinal behaviour there as far as I can see. If there had been three urinals and he took the one next to you, then you would have had to break up with your gf, obviously.

I don't think I feel very well today. Sadly, this revelation only occurred to me after getting to work. Just feel incredibly dizzy again - I've been like this in the mornings a few times recently.

:this:

People who use a cubicle for a wee if there's a urinal available have something to hide. Unless they're women.

Twice now Miss Malabar has walked into the toilets at her workplace to find one particular woman standing up in one of the cubicles, door wide open, wiping her arse. What. The. Fuck?

What's unacceptable is building a toilet that has two urinals in. WTF? You clearly need three, so the middle one can be the buffer. There should never be an even number of urinals in a toilet.

Troughs* can be tough to judge the virtual spacing, no one shares urinals do they?** Don't want to get squeezing in if they're already quite full. Not that arsed when you have a belly full of real ale/cider though and you have to go.

*The long type urinal found in some pubs/festival facilities.

**That's aimed at you Southerners. I suppose you all phone in advance and book them though.

Our work toilets just have the two and they're uncomfortably close to each other.

I'll quite deliberately stand at the next urinal to people. No social convention that can't be removed with a bit of practice, and there's always a chance that I'll be next to a weirdo who'll be made really uncomfortable by it, so I'll have done him a favour in challenging his strangeness.
