I remember a thread, about suriviving zombies

here is a cool flash game - survive behind a barricade, at day break, look shops and offices etc for supplies and weapons, plus survivors to help you.

at night, survive zombies.

get enough supplies to move and you can go to a new location.

get to the safety city within 40 days or something like that...

my stats -

survived 35 days, reached the exit and mowed 953 undead!

First thoughts: "ooh, high prodution values for a flash game."

Second thoughts: "aah, this is the one that was on RPS that I didn't get round to playing."

Final thoughts: "AARGH ZOMBIES KILL KILL DESTROY THEY'RE COMING AARH GET TAE FUCK"

Excellent. I think my flatmates are worried about my sanity after that. What fun.

34 days and 692 dead. I had a few days in hand as I expected the last city to be a surprise boss battle with millions of them. And I went via the small town. Still got hold of an AK-47, but I would have liked a shotgun. The bow is great, and the chainsaw a lifesaver.

Second attempt! Man, there are loads of weapons.

Days survived: 37
Zombs re-killed: 1085

I have about five favourite guns and cannot choose.

I died in the last but one town.

My issue was that I don't think my allies killed more than about three zombies between them in seven days of sustained zombie attack. They were in the two middle positions, and if a zombie was about a millimetre above or below them, they didn't even bother to fire. So I've got a guy with a sawn-off shotgun and a guy with a hunting rifle just stood there, watching a zombie dismantle my barricade about a foot away from them, but because nobody is within their one nanometre firing line, neither of them bother to shoot.

BAH!

I dunno how you can repulse about five running zombies at the same time, on your own. If you use the chainsaw, you can take them all out, but then you've got the ten second reload while another four runners and the seven or so slow ones all hit at the same time (not to mention the horrific slowdown that was annoying).

This game gets BAH out of TEN.

It's possible. I might have been looking for excuses to hide my inadequacy, but they were really, really shit. I'm not sure the guy with the rifle even fired a shot...

My guys were awesome. I let them take out the slow movers with a variety of guns, while I minced the dogs and runners with the chainsaw when they got close.

The performance of the guys certaily does seem to vary. For my first couple of goes they just sat there, awaiting death. On the final go they were all shooting like manics and the last few waves were really easy. Good game, althought the first one is stupidly easy.
