What sort of things do you want to do with it?

i'm not really sure to be honest,

probably buy some strategy games, which are not on the mac (just bought sid meier's railroad e.g.) and just some weird gmes (gridrunner revolution)

one the apps side i'm just wondering if on windows people are doing things i couldn't do on the mac..

I doubt there's a lot you can do in Windows that can't be done on the Mac, other than games of course. And emulators. I would imagine there are more/better emulators for Windows than Mac.

I was going to suggest emulators since I spent most of yesterday reliving my youth with an Atari 800XL emulator.

In my (perhaps not enormous) experience, most emulators are open source, and run equally well on OS X, Windows, and Linux. Certainly the bigger emulators for common platforms, anyway. Less mainstream ones with smaller dev teams might be better supported on whichever platform the author(s) favour (which might not be Windows either).

Wel, since i built a mac emulator site way back in '04... (http://www.macretro.ricklindeman.nl )
i know situation quite wel.. main platforms are covered nicely, with a few missing..

amiga emulation is e.g. quite basic, while on windows there are whole front end not making you have to worry. And things like kaillera (making amiga and megadrive games playable online, used at http://www.sensiblesoccer.de for sensi tournaments e.g.) aren't there on the mac.. a good saturn emulator is missing i think and some more..

I run Amiga Forever inside a Virtual PC thing when I need to use some 'mig software. That probably wouldn't stand up to games very well but it's the least faff way of getting PPaint running.

I've read about this so many times before, and then never actually bothered trying. It sounds like a great idea to me, in principle at least. Does it work well? And is it easy?
