I would suspect people with real feather pillows do this more.

Is it called Jonny?

But yes - If the pillow gets too hot it gets flipped over to aid sleeping.

I just had to flip my pillow, I found a not so small child in my bed sweatinv all over it. Nice. No, not Ramsea this time.

My sleepytime routine is thus:

Go to bed and fall asleep.
Get woken 2hrs later by Ramsea coming to bed.
Shag/continue to sleep/tell Ramsea to piss off and come to bed earlier if he expects sex.
Get woken up by snoring.
Gently nudge Ramsea.
Punch him in the neck.
SHUT THE FUCK UP
Broken sleep.
Get woken up by him wheezing.
Shove, punch, omg where is your inhaler.
Sleep through sheer exhaustion.
Alarm.
Snooze for 20mins and get up feeling not very refreshed.

When he's away, the sleep is better but the sex is kinda onesided.

I don't flip, because my pillow is one of these:

And the other side is covered in weird foam pyramid things which aren't comfortable.

That doesn't look very comfortable. How do you lay on it? Does your head go on the high bit or the low bit? We need answers, man!

I like to lay on my pillow so it goes down one side of my body with my head on the top, narrow edge, for cuddling.

I've actually stopped using pillows now. I'm not sure exactly when, or indeed how or why, this happened, but I now can't sleep with my head on a pillow as a get a sore neck. I surround my head with pillows though.

I don't flip, but I do fold a corner of the pillow over for coolness. Those of you who are spending all night trying to keep warm in bed, don't you have heating? If you're that cold, buy an electric blanket!

I didn't flip my pillow last night as it was already a cold night.

During the Summer I'll flip it a bazillion times a night.

I used to get night terrors when I was wee, they generally involved me waking up still freaking out & taking over half an hour to come out of it & recognise my parents. It freaked both me & them out :(

Now I just get the occasional nightmare & those weird dreams where you wake up tripping over.

Your head goes in the crevice. The low bit supports your neck, the high bit keeps your head in the crevice.

I've had one since my early teens: back and neck problems, see.

They wouldn't be so cold if they didn't piss it all away into every bit of surrounding air. Even in the middle of winter I'll have to resort to keeping the window open and little to no clothes on just to keep myself cool with that weird human furnace next to me. Come summer time, and it's unbearable, yet they still complain they're cold.

I "knew" a girl that had night terrors - Christ, she screamed so much and I properly shat myself.
She thought she was getting better, but it turned out that because she'd been single for a few months no-one had woken her up to tell her she was screaming like the girl in the horror film that "goes upstairs to check".
It's making me brr just thinking about it.

My daughter went on holiday with a girl friend of hers last year and they shared a twin room. Her friend mentioned that she sometimes made noises in the night, but not that she would wail and scream like a banshee. The first night it happened my daughter thought they were being attacked by an axe murderer or something, and screamed as well, which woke her friend up who then asked her what she was screaming about!!

Needless to say, she was exhausted by the time she got home.

I had a friend who did that, his dentist gave him a special mouthpiece to wear at night to avoid damaging them.

I snore and kick whilst asleep. Not that I've done much of that tonight; I've been awake since 2:50 am. Good times.

Maria has one of those, but she never bloody wears it, even after spending thousands of pounds on fixing the damage caused to her teeth by the grinding.

GAHHH!

And there was me thinking that my 30 year old daughter was the only female who still insisted on having her double bed against the wall to ensure that she only had to defend herself against 'them' from one direction.

Even now, when she gets up for a wee in the night, she has to put her bedside light on, check under the bed for monsters/rapists/axe murderers, etc. then switch the big light on, switch the landing light on and switch the bathroom light on. On her way back she switches them all off in reverse order, but switches the bedside light off and then back on again to make sure no one's crept into the room behind her, before switching it off again and hiding under the duvet.
