Well obviously, that would be most unexcellent. Just saying it would be a good idea to say if folks have been visited by Secret Santa yet or not. We are in the middle of snowmaggedon!

Hi guys, sorry for my absence. I've started the new job this week and been ill since the early hours of this morning, not connected I don't believe.

If Santa's want to pm me to say a gift has been sent out I will happily give the recipient a heads up to look out for it in the post and they can either let me know or post in this thread to say they have received it.

You should all be trying to get your gifts in the post this weekend really.

Sorry for the spazzy posting, I'm on my phone and have sent Joans out for medication so he keeps interrupting me with texts. :p

What? Stop changing the rulz, JazzyG! :ninja: The thread says things should be posted out by the 15th and you are making me stress that I have mis-read I and I am not ready :'(

Sorry Meems, I'm not quite with it, I thought it was later in the month than it is. I think what I should have said is that people need to be thinking about it really, when its so far in the future it can be easy to think you have ages and then it is suddenly Xmas and you didn't realise.

Hello.

I just received a parcel from Amazon. Since I have not ordered anything from Amazon, I am guessing that this is my Secret Santa pressie?

Can someone confirm or deny this (via GJ)?

Phew! Sorry if I haven't replied to a PM that I have been sent, but I can assure you they have all been 'dealt with' as it were. :)

Please remember this is your last weekend to post out if you haven't already!

Nothing yet here. Still hoping!

I did send the present that was my duty to send (well, I got someone to go out in the freeze for me, the common cold can play havoc).

Secret Santa present was delivered here tonight by a postman who actually looked like Santa. After doing the obvious and trying to recognise the handwriting then scanning the package for a regional postmark (there was none) I put it up on the bookshelf out of Willow reach, ready for me to open on Christmas morning :)

Mine had arrived too! It was from Amazon and I was expecting something for myself, so I made Danielle open it and (having confirmed it was my secret Santa) hide it for me to have on Christmas day.

I think it was posted from a broom cupboard...

Can you ask if it is Ok to open and put under the tree (I mean, is it wrapped inside, or should it remained boxed so as not to spoil surprisiness)

Is my present wrapped too? Not dared to open the postal packaging, but thats mostly incase I'm disturbing the crime scene rather than ruining the surprise?

If anyone is having trouble visualising my husband standing there with a bow on his todger, a smile on his face and his hands casually folded behind his head, I'm happy to describe it in more detail.

I want to point out that when I said it looked like my SS gift had come from the broom cupboard that I did not mean that it was bashed about or looked like it had suffered a bad encounter with a mop, but the name reminded me of the BBc broom cupboard. Then I thought that the sender may have been perhaps too young or too old to know what I was talking about. Inside were two small wrapped openables, and two cards. I haven't opened either card, but the envelope of one was the most joyous thing I have seen all year, so I have propped that up on the bookshelf for the time being :D
