Hi Gang!

Thanks for my secret santa, I received an awesome PacMan Mug, and a Morph posable desk toy!

I will post up pictures later, just got home from my parents, in a technological black hole (3k/s internet lolz)

Also, to the person who was meant to receive a gift from me, I will be persuing this with Amazon, please accept my apologies. the order was placed 14th Dec, so should have got there in time. I will seek a replacement, or send an alternative. Im very sorry.

Merry Chrimbletidings to all.

So, what now?
Do we have to try and guess who bought us our gift?

Here is a picture of me with my ace Beex SS present. I loves it very much and will put it on the baby for sure! Thank you SS! Curio reckons he knows who it is, but he won't tell.

It's Bank Holiday Tuesday (in England, at least). There hasn't been a day of post since Christmas Eve, so though it didn't get there by then, there hasn't been a subsequent delivery. Royal Mail still have my gifts to Craig to bring, there is just a rather big backlog, so don't give up hope. I'm sure it will arrive by the end of the week.

I have made another order on Amazon. Im remiss to give them more business but I feel pretty wretched about this.
If anything turns up in the meantime let me know, perhaps we can arrange a return.

Sorry again for the inconvenience.
The new ETA according to Amazon in 4th-6th January.

It's a t-shirt for a baby, featuring Pacman eating little baby bottles.

You can try, but if your Santa wanted you to know who they were they would probably have told you. :)

No worries, I'm really chuffed at how many people have taken part. Also quite pleased that we've only had one casualty with regards to gifts arriving on time. Hopefully it will get sorted though. :)

This is so true, Joans only recieved some CDs from Amazon yesterday that he ordered for his Dad at the beginning of the month, and I had something only turn up this morning. I think there is just a huge backlog to contend with, and I know it's frustrating, but we can only try to be patient.

*wants needles dammit!* :D

I haven't told them. It is completely at your discretion if you want to let them know. :)

Joans found his out by looking at the post code on the retuns address bit of the recorded delivery sticker.

I'm guessing my secret Santa is a female BeeXette...

The reused packaging had 'Miss' written on it and the letter inside was nicely written.
ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
I think it was from Flis or Gill as it was photography related.

My Secret Santa presents are better than some of my actual Christmas presents! I am well chuffed!

I have gotted:

Image

The first volume of the Scott Pilgrim series. This is just... ace. I have not yet seen the film, but the book is great, if a little hard to work out which character is who to begin with, and is tempting me to get the rest.
Really thoughtful, and well pleased.

Image

Isobell Campbell (off of the Belle and Sebastian band) and Mark Lanegan (off of the Queens of the Stone Age) get together to record ace ballad type hits. Bought the first album they did together, so looking forward to this immensely (not had chance to listen yet with being away from home).

All in all, top marks, although the secretness is given away slightly by the Amazon gift note inside bearing your name, so thanks throughsilver!!

*shakes fist at Amazon*

But seriously, very happy you're chuffed with your gifts. I would have wrapped them, super-secret like, but had to leave the country and I'd not planned all that well.

Yeah, anyone who used the old direct-ship-from-Amazon trick would give the game away via the packing slip. This applies both to my secret Santa and the person I was Santa for.

I thought there was a "don't include a packing slip in this package" option? I also thought I ticked it ?:|

Craig's gift had absolutely NO clue of who it was from - I thought that was pretty impressive.

Hs gift is also acebest. Almost as acebest as mine.

Really, my secret Santa has saved me from losing my mind this Christmas as I have been stuck laying down unable to move, and being able to have a quick game of Ilo Milo and Risk on the Eggbox has made a massive difference. :luv:

I am also looking forward to feeling up to having a bath.

Heh, GJ you should have set up a link to Amazon from this thread and set up a comission deal!
I ordered mine to my house then resent it with slip removed.

There's a 'hide the price' option. Sadly, I think Amazon assume everyone wants credit for their gifting.

Yea! Finally managed to take pictures of our Secret Santa gifts. Here is mine:

The points are loaded and have been partly used. They absolutely made christmas not be a wash-out. The little bath bomb package HAS been opened, but only partly, to se if I could smell anything (I couldn't). I will open it properly when my sense of smell returns so that I might properly enjoy it (I hope, by the way, that it does return... food is rather bland at the moment).

So my Secret Setanta present was the following Lego man which is in fact a windup torch. It's a great ornament that doubles up as a torch and intruder clubbing blunt object. Thanks secret one!
