If you can get to a Makro (and get in, which I assume you can being self employed) we always have loads of all of the Wychwood stuff.

That is, to be fair, the beer fridge. We do have a normal fridge for food and stuff that's generally better for you.

We felt we had to take a photo. We did shut the door afterwards. And as others have noted, we probably drank it all before it got that cold anyway.

I can't actually remember why we had so much drink -- the only note on the gallery is 26/5/03, which isn't all that useful. This was from when I lived with MeatAngle, perhaps he can remember. It was probably a barbeque. I'm a lighweight, but he can confirm that a bunch of my mates from school are pretty big drinkers.

See above, this was in 2003. Also I think that Frijj belonged to MeatAngle, funnily enough.

If memory serves Reef was on some sort of insane buy-one-get-a-zillion free offer and we were all too poor to turn that down. Actually, I am a girly drinker anyway, as I cannot drink anything gassy (not even coke) without getting mad hiccups for hours afterward. This rules out all lagers, and most draught cider. I have no taste for bitter so that pretty much leaves red wine as my "having a drink" drink, and vodka or scotch as my "getting drunk" drink. I've managed a bottle of vodka in one sitting though, so I can't be that much of a lightweight.

I was disappointed no-one noticed the chilli sauce collection on top of the fridge.

We used to have a beer fridge in our old house, but we don't have the room now here. Which is a real shame. Just today I was staring at the 50 litre Husky fridges in Asda and wishing I could justify the £80 asking price.

Sure, sure. Then again, you have two fridges? We just about managed to squeeze a fridge-freezer of doom into the corner of our kitchen.

Honeydew can be had on draught in my local. They also do massively superb 8oz hamburgers.

Addendum to this - I just noticed the album is sub-titled "Four men. Eighty five pounds. One night. Game Over.", suggesting that booze split four ways. This may explain why my memories of the night are hazy.

The sad thing about being heavily stocked up on wine is that I currently have a stomach infection and can't drink any of it. In fact, I was meant to be going to a wine tasting tomorrow, but have had to cancel.

I have so much for various reasons. I normally have a few bottles, but I ordered 36 bottles from the Sunday Times Wine Club Vintage Festival the other weekend, and got another 6 free from buying a ticket to the thingy that I was meant to be going to tomorrow. That said, I have another 6 yet to arrive from said Wine Club. Plus there are a few hanging around, including some unusual ones. And some Pedro Ximinez Sherry, which isn't strictly wine, but is close enough.

YAY FOR WINE!

At some point I'm supposed to be getting a voucher for 12 free bottles of wine for switching my gas and electric supplier via Uswitch.com*. I think I could have also had £40 cashback, but I decided the wine would be the better deal. I only have a 9 bottle rack.

Our old house had a wine rack built into the side of the under the stairs cupboard that held at least 200 bottles (it was six bottles across and ran floor-to-ceiling - lots of these all screwed together). I do wonder what on earth the owners thought they would do with all that bottle space.

Fill it with bottles, obviously. My family certainly could have managed it - we had a wine cellar with a fair bit more than that.
