A few yays... House insurance have paid out. Awaiting £1400 I now have a bathroom again - being fixed as we speak I also now have a kitchen and dining room ceiling - being plastered as we speak Got my policy Excess cheque £250

It feels good, although my credit rating has dropped from 409 (fair) to 200 (very poor), which has confused me.

I think sometimes if you're not actively paying off debt or credit, it can affect your score because lenders don't know if you can reliably make payments or something like that. Bit weird that it's dropped now though. Do you use the moneysavingexpert credit club thing?

Defo sign up to the MSE credit club. It's free, and tells you what things are impacting your score etc.
