Balls, I meant to post that in Bit's and Bobs. Hmmm. I need something Yayier to make up for that.

Err, we have a dog! A stinky, creaky, yapping Jack Russel! She's awesome!

Actually, thinking again...I made 48 on Saturday for a Christening and it took me 4hrs. I don't fancy having to make hundreds.

Although, if it was my job, I'd have a massive floor mounted stand mixer, and cheap numpties to make the cakes. I'd just decorate them.

The shop will have a multi-tray industrial oven etc... :)
Need to investigate decorating options, as a hand piping bag probably won't cut it! :D

It is. I so want to work there. Even if the current uncertainties of the future of my current employer weren't an issue, I'd have applied for this job.

If the one up north is a success, Trooper, then I'm sure my wife would happily open up a London branch for you, as she is a whizzo baker of cakes and whatnot!

I'm sure Ali would love to do the same.

We also have a mutual friend who is itching to open a cupcake shop. However, Do not go into business with that woman.

Going into business for yourself is one of the best things you can ever do. Very scary at first, but the sense of freedom is worth it.

Massive yay!

My sister just had a baby! I'm an uncle again.

Baby weighed a ridonkulous 10lbs 6oz. Yowch.

Note to those of you who know her - I'm not sure if this is public knowledge yet to those outside family, so don't go congratulating or anything. I was just excited and needed to post something.

:DD

Actually, if I go to Google.com and try there, you are fourth in the list. If I try in the FireFox Google Search box, you're not . Interesting.

Your G+ profile is the third result in Google for Lewie, too. I think that's even more impressive.

Liverpool company got back to me. One of their current contractors wanted to leave without notice. They checked I was still available, said to the bloke "off you go, then" and I start on Monday.
