Got a piece I submitted to an unofficial The Thing art book project selected!

Not shown it anywhere yet, I'll wait until I have the printed copy in my clammy paws before the reveal!

Or maybe get bored waiting and put it in the Stick your thumbs up thread.

Are you sure you haven't or was it a different The Thing piece you did? Definitely seen one of them.

I'm not sure about anything I do...

Did I just show you though rather than posting on the social meeeeja?

Hang on I might have stuck it on Behance.

Just had this message. :)

"Just been the hospital Chloe has been cleared of epilepsy and any other medical conditions they said the fainting is her body changing, it will probably happen a lot more."

Ruth's op yesterday went fine - all the stones are now gone, no bits left in there, no damage to the insides of the kidneys. She had a temporary stent put in after the op (which she wasn't aware of beforehand so was a bit pissed off, as she thought it was going to all be done yesterday), but that's now coming out on Monday instead of Thursday so she will be pretty much pain free from the start of next week. Her liver function also seems to be almost back to normal. Yay!

Unless the new job is something like Assistant Poop Shoveler, in which case I think I'd stay put.

The job is to manage the online side of a resort here, and then to take care of guests during their stay. About a 50:50 split. Sort of like an assistant manager, but no worrying about logistics or the boring side of running a resort. Just internet and people.

It's here.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koh_Rong_Sanloem

There's one other candidate, but I think I'm the stronger of the two. Interview went really well. I mentioned that I speak un petit pue francais, and the owner's face lit up, since French is the second most common language among guests after French, but no one else working their speaks French. Then I got to flex my skills when a French couple had un probleme and I was able to communicate effectively with them.

Reasonable money, accommodation and (pretty fantastic) food included, and they are totally happy with me continuing to do SavyGamer in my own time.

If I get the job, first beer is on me if any of you want to visit.

I kind of resent needing to look for extra work because Brexit fucked my income from SavyGamer, but this seems like a good option.
