Damn, it feels good to be a gangsta in your last afternoon in work before two weeks off.

Ah yes, it is Ampersand Event this weekend, is it not? Are you ready? Nervous? Do you have an "inside wedding" voice? Good luck and best wishes to you both! :DD

Also: Don't get so drunk the night before that you can only get out of bed an hour before you need to be at the registry office and then spend 10mins throwing up. Bloody Ramsea.........

Hah! There was very brief talk of a stag do for the night before, but the kaibosh was quickly put on that. We had it last Saturday instead.

Jesus fuck that was a tiring lot of interviews. The first round interviews were two weeks ago, with one hour with the person I'm replacing and head of HR, and one hour with the woman I'm replacing's boss. Today was one hour with the overall head of legal, another half hour with boss from last time, half hour with head of procurement and half hour with head of UK business. Two other people are at second round stage, and will be interviewed early next week, so I should find out end of next week.

I hate interviews - I can never ever tell how they went.

Why isn't this being streamed live so we can watch it, that's what I want to know!?

I might riot in protest.

The second one is my favourite, he looks relaxed and natural.

The suit in the first one cost £500, it took about 30 seconds for Chloe to spill his pint over it, she even got the hat! :D

Right then, I'm off. I have my US visa in my hands, and I'm on a plane tomorrow! It may have taken a year, but I'm about to go and live in the South. Eeeep. (in its defence, it's a non-ole-boys region :P) It's been fun, everybody! (Cavey, your sweets are in the post and should be with you soon, hopefully!)

I'm going to try and spent less time arguing online…heh, so expect to see me back here in a month :P

I'm moving to Durham, North Carolina! Where the temperature will be a sunny 35ºC for the rest of the month at least - I'm going to melt, somewhat!

Hey, if it fought on the side of the Confederacy in the Civil War, it's the South :) (though, yes, it is near the top of what you'd call the South)

I think I was 9 when I was last in North Carolina. I really should return there at some point.

Possible 'YAY'. Need to discuss at BeexBeeQue with people about best course of action to take. MrsA's been offered a job in The North. Which is good, and I'm very happy. Sadly, The North is a long way fom MaliTowers and so what to do with the house, etc.
