Brilliant.

a) why are you doing it in Sweden and
b) do you have a safe escape route for when the zombism takes hold?

On the CCTV I've just watched a certain delivery company fail to deliver something, despite it saying "leave in the shed" on the label, and then reversing smartly into my van, breaking the headlight.
Sigh.

Well that was odd. I'm busy with the company website overhaul and today I hit a problem in Joomla I've come across before with one of the add-ons. I couldn't remember how to work around it so I searched the author's forum and there was a thread on there from two years ago, started by me, asking the same question. Better still was that the only reply was by me too with how to fix it. :)

Nick, I may be back over towards the end of the year, we are doing a long trial and it is uncertain who is going, but it may well be me.

I seem to remeber it being agreed that you needed at least 4 people for a meet.

Otherwise it was just man-love.

Cheers Kalmar, yeah I agree, the second half is meatier. It's one of the quickest he's turned around too. Done within 24 hrs.

:D Sorry Nick.

I shall see if I can found out, but you may be better approaching them yourself. I am not sure they can employ foreign nationals, but they seem to have a good research base. Another place to investigate would be the university. You may even be able to continue your MSc there. That might keep you in the country for a while.

Yeah the way the seem to do things over there is a lot more personal level.. ie you've gotta go and see them rather than the over here "send an email and it'll be pawned off to some recruitment firm"
I spotted an AZ whilst I was there, and it was a manufacturing site.. which would suit me big time.
I really don't wanna go back to uni again right now. Had enough of being a student!

But as you say it is a lot more personal over here, and the Uni may be a really good way of making contacts, while getting you a qualification and keeping you in the country.

Sweden has (at least had, my last experience is from about 6 years ago, but I can only imagine it's got better) one of the best internet infrastructures in Europe, when I was playing multi player quake3, the Swedes always had the lowest pings.

Now, that might be limited to just the big cities or something, I don't know.

Someone was reading the Daily Mail on the bus this morning, and one one of the pages (I think page 43 of some pullout thing) was a picture of someone with a load of pegs on their face (at least that's what it looked like, I was sitting a few rows behind the woman reading the paper).

I have voted because it's a good bit of production work and he's your buddy, but dear Christ it was dull, and about four minutes too long.

Is he winning?

Matt Crawford griefing Brian Aldridge over this land has amused me.

Not a positive role model, MaliA.

Don't really feel like doing a lot today.

No, but it runs into November. He's had the organiser listen to his track a few times already though, and he's stated that it will be his choice which three will feature on his remix release and not necessarily down to the three with the most votes, although it helps.
