Yes. I'll be going back to Bedford first to get the car.

Or, alternatively: I'm not reading two sentences.

Oh. I read it as "come to Bedford, where I'll be, and get in my car*". For some reason.

We should record the first Beex podcast in the car ;)

And, finally, we'll get to play 'proper' Mafia Scum.

:this:

And we can have big, big games. Should be awesome.

Last time I ran a game, I used the novel 'unreliable narrator' mod. Mainly because I was drunk and couldn't remember who was who. Oddly, it kind of worked.

I've paid my deposit but not actually thought to look at where it is.

Last time I went to a big house with mates, we spend an incredible amount of time playing 'sardines' or '45 and in' with the light off.

We have played both of those games, assuming that the latter is the same as 40-40, a game which has more names than I thought possible.

I have a great hiding place for Sardines, though it was topped by my friend Anna, who managed to hide inside a small kitchen cupboard. I only found her when I got bored and decided to go get a drink.

Also, Malc, payment next week is okay. Obviously I'd prefer to get as much money as possible before I have to pay (Friday), but as long as its trickling in, I can live with that.

I am not yet certain, but I think it's somewhere on or around September 1st.

You are, of course, more than welcome to pay it now.

Is courgette flavour good enough for you?

I might make a load of ice cream for this, seeing as there's presumably somewhere to keep it cold in this place. I'll need to figure out a good way to keep it for a couple of hours in the car, mind.

I'll be bringing lager and Sambuca.

Maybe a change of clothes if there is room.

If they use a compression pump with freon you're meant to let them settle for 24 hours after moving them before you use them again.

This could all be myth, though.

My massive BSG nut and extreme lurker pal Zeppo may be interested, if you can put him down on the maybes list. How many people can the two cottages accommodate in total anyway? Is the limit near to being reached?

You're supposed to. Those things always have some air in them at the top of the radiator, but moving them around disperses the air through the coolant in bubbles. In theory the air can then get trapped inside the pump assembly and fuck it via some means I cannot quite fathom. I'm not sure what actual risk is, but it's bigger than "none" and less than "much" I think.

Oh right - it's probably an air lock, and can happen in cars, too. Basically the air collects around the pump, then suddenly the pump is pumping nothing and overheats (as does the rest of the car/fridge).

Oh yeah, of course. Because the coolant is also what cools the pump motor.

It's more that the motor is suddenly spinning ten times faster than it normally would due to lack of resistance.

We could attach magnets to the cooling motor and then the fridge could power itself!

It's not that, the speed is always roughly synchronous with the grid, even unloaded.

It's not cooling either.

It's lubrication. There's oil in the refrigerant, it needs to be at the bottom of the circuit, in the pump.

I thought you were a crap cook because of food I had at your house, but then I had some memory creep that suggested that Pundy actually did the cooking.

Your memories crap. Pundy was never there.

I think alcohol related forgetting to remove food from cooker may have had a lot to do with the eventual state of food.
