WTHF?

Their brief seems to be "let's use sterotypes of really annoying people to publicise our deals"

Why?

No really, why?

Have you heard them?

Malc

Brand awareness, certainly, but unless that converts into a sale and revenue, it's pretty worthless.

Your (old) job, but not the adverts job.

Haven't heard the advert, but trust me, the annoying adverts work. Ever wonder why the local kitchen company have been running the same shit adverts on Cheese FM for the past 10 years? Because the adverts work.

It's the kind of brand awareness that does convert to sales. I can only name one Citroen dealer locally because of their shite adverts for example. If I need furnishings and live in xtown, I know the name of one shop.

Brand awareness is what radio advertising is all about.

I was trying to make it look like a sig.

FLINTSHIRE MOTORS! The cheesiest advert of all time:

Sadly I know the voice *and* the genius behind it. It's about 15 years old now but they set out to create something that would hammer the brand home and get it remembered. Worked as well.

I quite like the music they play on Virgin radio. That's why I listen to it.
