I've seen a few episodes (well, like 20-25?) of My Family and it was reasonably funny.

Yeah, but The Young Ones is number 31 on that list which clearly invalidates the result ;)

My family was mildly amusing in a background telly kinda way for the first couple of series, then the funny bloke left and it all went downhill IIRC.

Oddly, I've also met him. I think I may have even 20 questioned it.

The son. We were sat in the back bit of a Thames Clipper. My wallet fell out of my pocket somehow and he found it after I got off and handed it in.

I'm fairly sure he took a tenner, which is - of course - his right.

That would make a great story for the Daily Star “BT TV STAR NICKS A TENNER”.

Not really a fan of it to be honest (My Family). I mean it was okay, I laughed a couple of times an episode perhaps, but that's not enough to keep me interested really. So I've probably only seen 3 or 4 full episodes and seen parts of a dozen or so more.

The son (Kris Marshall - off BT adverts) also ruined Death in Paradise for me and I had to stop watching that 3 or 4 episodes into his rein. Looks like the rest of the original cast has left now along with Kris, and Ardal O'Hanlon has joined it (not sure he's been very funny since Father Ted tbh)

I met him in the Redchurch once. I pretended to think he was Garth from Birds of a Feather and berated him all night about how shit Birds of a Feather is. It was HILARIOUS!!!11!

Birds of a Feather, you say? Pauline Quirk and Linda Robson were in the same carriage as me when I was either going to, or coming back from London for some stoopid meeting.

To be fair, it was worth watching My Family just to lust after Daniela Denby-Ashe.

So they do indeed flock together.

Remember when she kissed that other girl in Torchwood? I do.

I came to this from the Birds of a Feather posts, read Torchwood as Broadchurch, and thought you were talking about Pauline Quirk getting it on with another lass. Which I couldn't remember, but then, I stopped paying attention after the first series.

I couldn’t watch Torchwood. I tried, but it just kept really, really annoying me, so I gave up.
