Get your shit together.

Also, I don't think you're on my friends list. What's your tag?

Its 1337snyper_n00bkilla

Oh no, wait, that's not right! That's your mums tag.

Mine is FLIS_iom. I think, it's one of those 'I don't know my own phone number' deals, heh.

Also, what is this diving thing you all speak of?

There already is Hardcore Team Deathmatch.

I just want Hardcore Domination and Hardcore HQ.

If you go prone while sprinting you dive through the air then crash into the ground like a fat superman :DD

I've got her on my friends list Malaboob, just go through it and you'll find it.

The diving is brilliant although disconcerting when you first do it! Basically if you hold B to go prone while at the same time sprinting from clicking the stick, you do a running dive. It often means you dive right over the capture point and it's great to see five people simultaneously dive onto the first flag :D

I'll see if I can persuade her to give multiplayer another shot. She may enjoy it more if she plays with more bezzies and gets used to the maps, pace and frustration. It's a pity you can't have independent volume controls per friend, isn't it? :D

Fuck knows what happened to my connection last night, by the way. We ended up with red bars, then got booted and couldn't get back on at all.

It's the one I use, where you crouch with the right stick & knife with B.

Better to have a wee lie down while shooting the shit out of foreigns.

Quiet, Jew.

It's taken me long enough to retrain my muscle memory away from RB to right stick for melee, so I won't be switching to the Tactical controls. Either set of controls is a trade-off unfortunately.

I only use tactical, as I got used to crouch being on the right stick on BF:BC2.
I always used normal setup before Battlefield, but I had to get used to switching to new controls once already, my brain doesn't work well enough to switch back again.
The amount of times I've grenaded rather than stabbed in BLOPS has gone past funny, through annoying and is back to funny again...

What do you gain? Access to the Prestige Playlist (what's in that?), a new badge thing, one extra loadout slot... anything else?

Erm... nothing really. Just keeps having something to aim for.

I'd get bored just sitting around on 50 with nothing on aim for as there's no camos or owt to aim for as you can just buy it all. Probably worth just blowing all your money on wager matches before you prestige if you do it.

And yes zaphod I think you do.

I'll have to check though!

Not even new challenges? Boo!

I think MW2's titles, emblems and challenges were the bestest.

COPBLOPS makes $650 in 5 days :

http://www.vg247.com/2010/11/18/black-o ... ore-130180

Quote:
Activision’s just announced Call of Duty: Black Ops has grossed $650 million within its first five days on sale worldwide.

The astonishing figure has bettered the $550 million made by Infinity Ward’s Modern Warfare 2 last year, and has “shattered theatrical box office, book and video game sales records for five-day worldwide sell through in dollars.”

Also confirmed by Activision was that 5.9 million hours have been spent on multiplayer by the end of its launch day, with 2.6 million Live users playing MP in its first day.

“With a record breaking performance on Xbox LIVE, home to the world’s largest Call of Duty gaming community, Call of Duty: Black Ops has already carved out its legacy as one of the biggest video games in history,” said Xbox boss Don Mattrick.

“We congratulate our partners at Activision and Treyarch and are proud to continue offering the best Call of Duty experience to our 25 million global Xbox LIVE members by launching all Call of Duty map packs first on Xbox 360.”

Naturally, big Bobby Kotick is very pleased.

“Call of Duty has become the first entertainment property in history to set five-day launch records for two consecutive years across all forms of entertainment,” said the Activision boss.

“The title’s success illustrates the mass appeal of interactive entertainment as millions of consumers are choosing to play Call of Duty: Black Ops at unprecedented levels rather than engage in other forms of media.

“The number of people playing online and the number of hours they are playing demonstrates how online gaming has become a mainstream form of entertainment and certainly validates Activision Blizzard’s leadership role in online entertainment”

The title also became the biggest PS3 launch for Amazon.com and GameStop ever.

“Call of Duty: Black Ops has been an incredible success on PlayStation 3,” added SCEA CEO, Jack Tretton.

“Treyarch’s latest efforts are driving unprecedented traffic to the PlayStation Network with the flagship online experience this holiday season.”

Black Ops sold 5.6 million units in the US and UK within in its first day on sale, with 2 million units sold in the UK in its first week.

But despite the big numbers, Activision is “excited about the performance of Call of Duty: Black Ops, but given that it is still very early in the holiday shopping season, the company remains cautiously optimistic.”

Facking hell man. I've decided, I'm going to prestige once and that's it. Just so I can have a look in the prestige playlist and on the off chance they decide to add something in there in the future like FACKING HARDQUARTERS.

Am I the only person who isn't really a fan of Hardcore modes? It doesn't take very long to kill people anyway! And the lack of HUD and stuff is more annoying than its benefits can make up for. Don't get me wrong, I'll happily play them for a bit, but I much prefer the traditional full fat version of the game.

I think the problem more lies in the fact that, XBLA titles aside, Bizarre haven't made a great game in seven years.

I like not needing many shots to kill people. It makes it more a game of accuracy and positioning and less a game of keeping your crosshairs on target while you dance round each other.

That's Halo though. CoD is quick kill anyway. Two or three hits with most ARs is enough! I see your point though.
