Sadly, I recognise the little shutter cubby holes in the background. If you had phoned me from that spot I could have been with you in about 180 seconds if I ran. I wouldn't have run, though, so it would have taken me about five minutes.

I sometimes used to walk through there on my way to and from school.

It looked like a short creamy white drink with cola or something darker on teh top, but now you've said that it looks like the thick bottom of the glass

I have no idea why but I kept finding myself with 2 drinks....I had a strawberry daiquiri in each hand at one point

As much as I'd like to think so, it probably had more to do with drunken miscommunication and buying drinks for everyone regardless of whether they wanted one or not!

I've seen some low quality public toilets, but they look pretty horrible.

I got the impression that that was what was currently being used for! It's a partially-destroyed German bunker in the Huertgen Forest, built as part of the Siegfried Line.
