I've seen this before. It's nowhere near as dangerous as you think as long as you didn't swallow any of it -- http://www.quartertothree.com/game-talk ... hp?t=52105. Certainly less so than the always-on x-ray machines that shoe shows used to have back then so you could see the fit of your shoe. You could play with that kit every day for weeks and absorb less dose than a single transatlantic flight.

Indeed I have lots of Uranium glass that is made using Uranium oxide and dangerous it isn't.

However glow in the dark under UV light it does which is a nice bonus.

I was wondering that myself, but had a flash of inspiration that it's probably something to do with LMAO.

I was ready to tell you to google it, but this is the only result, so I guess it's a Coffey-ism.

the most sad thing on the page is the tips to know your toys are safe

~" look at the age limit and stick too it"

author apparently didn't know that means your kids will only get toys they will find boring already, as even baby toys at times now have 3+ as a disclaimer..

Stuff I have learned in the last 8 years.

If it has tiny bits and your kid will put them in it's mouth then don't buy it.
Don't buy fisher price baby toys, they are broken down to the smallest possible component parts and you will spend 2 hours putting it together, then the child will play with the box.
Whoever decided to make those metal/plastic tie things should be taken out back and beaten.
Playdoh is stupid, it gets in your carpet, will dry out/get eaten, you will use each pot once. Plasticine on the other hand is a much better option, it is far more carpet friendly, non-edible and will last for years.
The early learning centre does big packs of all sorts of craft stuff very cheaply.
