Hello. I use the abbreviation Cap'n on a website, shortened from 'Captain'.

How the hell do I write "Captain's Log" using that?

I love double apostrophes in (informal) double contractions like wouldn't've. Thanks to you I now get to use triplicate! "Cap'n'd've tacked the gib and slackened the poopdeck!"

Now I just need to become a sailor or I'll make even less sense than usual in the pub.
