You are not allowed to post in CUS's thread unless you don't like The Hillster. So OBVIOUSLY it's got NO replies to date.

And as no one will EVER post in CUS's thread as Harry Hill is AWESOME then I've made this thread so that people can talk about how AWESOME Harry is.

Clue: IT'S A LOT.

I'm not enamoured with all things Harry Hill, but "...TV Burp" is absolutely excellent television.

And "You've Been Framed" is actually watchable now that he does the voiceover.

This. I loved Burp, and so did the rest of my family. I [legally purchased] one of his standup dvd's and thought it was twaddle.

But the Burp Rules.

I thought the old sketch show he used to do was rubbish, but TV Burp was good. One of the few ITV shows we actually used to make a point of trying to watch.

I love pretty much everything Harry Hill's done (except You've Been Framed). TV Burp is a wonderful show, and I don't understand how anyone at all could dislike it. My dad doesn't like it, but he's a grumpy-guts.

I've seen Harry Hill live and he does this brilliant bit now about how much he hates you've been framed and only does it for the money. Just by doing his normal voice over in the most sarcastic voice possible.

Strangely It makes UBF even more fun to watch.

Heh, I did see him do that actually. It was a couple of years ago and he was "apologising" for You've Been Framed and the Boots ads he'd done.

On the Bafta website there's an interview with him where his mask seems to slip and he refers to the show as "money for old rope". I'll link to it later as it's well worth watching.

What? I don't hate TV Burp. I'm watching it right now! Unfortunately however, I can't reply in that thread by my own rules. I've made a terrible mistake.

CHRISTIANS*, ASSEMBLE!

First we'll take Myoptika! Then, Sea Org will FALL!

* We'll use them as incensed religious zealots, like shock troops. Sort of like the Fremen in Dune. 666!

Yeah im a big Harry Hill fan, have been since I was in primary school I think, birdstrike is a great stand up if you can get hold of it, his last one was a bit iffy apart from a few proper excellent jokes, like his racist gran.
Sketch show was ok but yeah tv burp is the best stuff, its a bit strange how its taking something like 7 years for him to get any awards for it though.

The test is accurate - what has happened, my friend, is that you now like Harry Hill.

If there's anymore talk like that, I'll merge the two threads together. Then no one will know whether they like him or not anymore...

Hmm, at least you are not (new enemy) Jonarob! What was he thinking?

Now look at him, sitting alone in the anti-hill thread.

I like Harry Hill. His book Flight from Deathrow was quite funny. Especially the bit with a frustrated Den Xiaoping's attempts to get to Tower Records, and Andrew Lloyd Webber being the most beautiful man in the world. Some duff bits, but pretty good.

Also his first series with Bert Kwok guest-starring was pretty good. And TV Burp is on-off amusing.

Incidently, remember that phone advert he used to do on floating swiss cheese structure. And they replaced him for one more advert with cute girl. Cute girl wrinkled her nose in a very cute manner. Who was she? Will I ever see her again? :(

Al Murray seems wierd now when he's not being the pub landlord.
If you see him on Mock The Week or anything where he's just being 'himself', it's ever so odd. He's quite a soft-spoken chap - and he has hair!
