I have received what I think is mine. If you sent me something from iwantoneofthose.com then it has arrived safely.

It is sitting under my Xmas tree, and I am unsure when to open it, as normally I'd not dream of doing anything other than opening it on Xmas day, but I'm in Ireland over Xmas and we're perilously close to our baggage limit for the plane (curse you, Ryanair!).

So I might leave it until I get back on the 29th, or something.

:)

I don't think I've got anything yet, but I have ordered everything for Christmas on the Internet and have no idea what is and what isn't meant to be arriving.

Hopefully my Secret Santa put 'Grim...' on the outside of the packet, or I'll have torn it open and assumed I ordered it ;)

Mine has arrived, addressed to Malibu Stacey, and absolutely covered in stamps. Cheers, Secret Santa :DD

I don't know if things are wrapped or not inside, so I'm hesitant to open the box. I'll wait 'til Christmas day.

We have two bibles in the house. A child's version, and a 'grown-up' version. We don't have, ooh, sixty*. Two is enough.

*I'm going to count them.

[edit]Fuck me, there are 68 on the top shelf. Five shelves to go :S

viewtopic.php?f=3&t=5110&p=356143

Specifically that all the books in this picture :

Are bibles
(although i wonder if he's including the ones under the coffee table)

Santa has been!

I think I know who mine might be from, but there was no tag, so don't want to ay in case I am wrong...

But I got an apple hat, which I failed to take a good picture of with my mobile phone. Excuse the quality of this and the awkward self-portrait angle, but my camera batteries have been pressed into other Christmas action:

Attachment:
Picture 4.jpg

EDIT: picture should be right way up, now...

EDIT: OK picture is bad, so let me explain. It is an apple, with leaves, and a wormy worm. Also, earflaps! Also still had tag on when I took the picture as I couldn't find scissors and didn't want to risk making a hole by pulling tag off.

Also, a book called 'Does Anything Eat Wasps?' Where various folks answer various 'why is the sky blue' type questions using SCIENCE. Things like 'why do rubber bands sometimes spontaneously melt'?

Also, I got.. Well, let me see if there is enough battery-age to take another picture, hold on...

A desk calendar for 2010 of happy yet cynical style humour, and a fine set of moustaches!

Also, my dad borrowed my camera and I haven't remembered to grab it back off me, but fortunately my present was one that I can steal a picture of from the interwebs... I look forward to donning my bowler hat and enjoying a magical televisual adventure at the hands of:

So, obviously it was a mug, and explanations/apologies have already been sent to my secret santa. Just to clarify, I don't have any hatred of mugs or anything, there just seems to be a lot of them here (and instead of sneakily breaking some like I said I would, I accidentally broke a wine glass this morning instead  ).
Anyway, mugs are good, particularly when they are awesome like this and feature Penfold. Thanks (not so) Secret Santa. :)
