And yes, it is, in that there has been no mention of football on it at all.

NB: This year its not all 80's, and is currently on a 7 hour loop which I might extend on Tuesday depending on popularity.

About an inch or so on the ground in the Southampton area , and temp below zero , driving up to Oxford the roads are fairly clear and there's very little on the ground but you did get occasional flurries , Oxford area has a few little patches but nothing much.

Ayrshire had a few wee drops of snow carrying out some recon for about ten minutes but nothing more than that. It felt really cold this morning but there wasn't even very much frost, I was able to walk normally on the pavements without slipping.
I am pleased about this though because I need new welly boots, my old ones burst when I was playing in the snow in February. I'm going to by myself some tomorrow when I go to Glasgow.

About 3 inches of snow in Watford. North London has about 1-1.5 inches.

No snow in Caerphilly. A bit of frost on the car, but that's it. And it better stay that way. I'm pissed off enough that the fucking council can't even manage to collect the garbage on the right day any more despite only collecting every two weeks now.

My mum said that the roads were terrible in NW London/Wembley area last night - the snow actually started to settle on the North Circular road, and all of th traffic stopped. Luckily it was very late at night so not too much chaos, comparatively.

We have nothing here. if it weren't for the fact that it is so cold that I feel my nose may fall off you could imagine it was an early summers morning outside.

Would it be fair to say that someone who has a red Vauxhall Corsa with several Playboy bunny head logos down the side of it is a chav?

I was off work sick yesterday, first day I've ever taken off work due to "just feeling ill". As such, I watched Bad Boys, as it is the done thing. Tea Leoni is ludicrously attractive.

I had no trouble getting to Oxford. The only snowfall I saw was in Manchester, just as I left. The north-west isn't supposed to get snow until Saturday, and I don't think Manchester is supposed to get any at all. Oxford was Least Snowy of all. Well done the Met Office!

I'm praying for snow back home this Christmas round Huddersfield, Holmfirth and Batley, the Pennines are beautiful when blanketed. Some in Cardiff would be nice too, but the last semi-decent snowfall (and only a few miserable cm at that) was three years ago to my recollection.

:(

What is FFMC?

Also, probably not, I'm "working at home" and while I'm allowed to sign out early, I'll not be heading out until about 3 and then have to get to A&G for Teacher End Of Term Liver Dysfunction Acquisition.

Haaaaaaang on, Far From the Maddening Crowd? I was there at Halloween-ish, drinking the pumpkin ale, you know.

What about someone with a grey Ka with a 'Sarah' sticker across the top of the windshield, a fuzzy pink steering wheel cover and a 'Bitch on Board' sign in the back window?

Do you ever get a sudden rush of memory about something that happened in the past?

I was at a house party in Lancaster once where I drank lots. Lots and lots. The party was right across the other side of Lancaster, and when it got to the point that I needed to go to bed (about 5am, midwinter) I could no longer sit up, let alone stand. Let alone walk.

So, I got someone to call me a cab and waited ages and ages for it to arrive. When it finally did I got into the cab and asked for 'Ulster Road'. Driver asks where I am going, so I repeat.

See, I thought I was at the party from the week before. This party was four doors away from my house, on Ulster Road.

i said 'number thirteen'. Driver said OK, told me I was there, I got out and he pointed towards my front door. The funny thing was, i thought I had been in the cab, and had been driven there, but he didn't want paying. Then I saw everyone from the party milling around a few doors away from where I lived. It did make me wonder what they were doing there, but i was too tired to care and went up to bed.

"Barkeep! Top up my thimble!"

First work night out tonight - meal and lots of drinking no doubt, but also there will apparently be 'games', which I've a feeling is going to be rather cringeworthy. Last year, someone forgot to bring any games so we played Chinese Whispers instead. Oh, how I laughed.

Very cold here. Had a mass of snow last night and only a little bit has cleared (road seems OK from what I can see !).

Snow is all stuck to my windows and stuff.

Going to get more tonight apparently.

Today is the second time this year I've considered levelling up my duvet to the winter one, it's that cold. I even wore a top last night instead of the usual just shorts.

The heater on the little 30-litre fish tank seems like it's not happy about its work hours, either.

Perhaps they had? :)

MrsA managed to get a mouthful of that a few months back, I'd used a glass to measure out one unit of it, and then pour it into a jug, leaving the glass by the sink. She filled the glass up with water, believing it to be clean, and dank some of it. I laughed.
