Watched Colin tonight. I think I liked it, although I can't be 100% sure.

In zombie news, I am awaiting my copy of Volume 1 of Walking Dead, and watched the first half of Zombieland last ngiht, which is acebest.

I'm not hugely keen on the omnipresence in modern cinema of that Judd Apetow chap, or whatever his name is. You know, the skinny wretch.

There are two of them, that's why - Michael Cera who was in Superbad and Scott Pilgrim and presumably other things, and Jesse Eisenberg who was in Zombieland and maybe something else.

It's quite spooky how they're entirely interchangeable.

Unless you're talking about someone else.

Jesus christ, I'd never realised that.

Is there a cloning facility somewhere?

In further zombie news, I saw the trailer to Resident Evil 290 3D. It looks utter shite, even for a Resi film. My completer-finisher side is warring with my "I'm not sitting through something that looks even worse than Mutant Chronicles" side.

Heh! I forgot that side, but it's definitely making its presence felt in the decision making process.

I'm also quite fond of the slightly butch lady, what was in Heroes.

I have fond memories of the Resident Evil film where she wakes up in the shower with no clothes on :luv: God bless Milla Jovovich. Especially when speaking Fifth Elementish. (That's a language, honest.)

Mr Chris-Zombieland is brilliant, I agree! In fact, once I'd watched I boldly proclaimed that it was the zombie film I'd make if I made a zombie film. Which I wouldn't 'cos I'd be too scared to be on the set with all the people looking like zombies :(

Just read book 2 of The Walking Dead. My word, this is rather good stuff. *Orders book 3*

At this rate I'll be doing a book every 4 days.

Bugger. That's 1-8, and I've been getting them at around £5 a pop. If I'd bought that instead of 1 and 2, I'd have saved money on the first 8. Now I won't. >:|

I'm not reading etc.

Actually, some of the later volumes aer a bit more expensive, so this may still save me money in the long run. Yhanks, DocG!

Is that what the TV series is being based on? Do any of you have that? It looks quite good but is it very big and heavy?

Planet Terror is great. I'd forgotten it was a zombie movie. And it has Rose McGowan. And Marley Shelton as an hot lesbian.

It looks pretty interesting and thinking about it, being big and heavy may be a plus point since it would force me to only read it at home, hopefully slowing my progress. :)
I wonder how much the TV series will deviate from that? I am interested in reading the Sookie Stackhouse novels but I don't want to ruin the series for myself as I adore it and would worry the same could happen here. I usually find the books better then the screen adaptations so though I may as well enjoy the screen asaptation of True Blood and then enjoy the books as well.

You could do some damage with a decent sized brass owl. A heck of a lot more than my choice of a plastic milk bottle or a cheap paperback book.
