So, Tuesday eh? Which means I get a lie-in 'til 7am tomorrow because I'm at college and college always passes faster than work. Then it's Thursday which means I can stay up a wee bit later because the next day is Friday, when I get to work at a computer all day and then go home early for a nap before my girlfriend gets home!
So basically, it's nearly the weekend eh?

I've battled through the night to City 17 where loads of revolutionary flids keep getting in my way while I try to find the tiny dark corridor twatty Valve want me to go down. Don't get me started on the shitty vehicles.

I preferred Episode 1 and 2 to the full game but it needed doing. Although I RROD on Episode 2 which upset me.

*EDIT*
It's a shame it doesn't come with HL multiplayer.. I used to love that.

The funny thing about Perkies's rants about a Valve bias in the media is the strongest and most consistent Valve bias I've ever seen is his own.

I enjoyed Half-Life 2 pretty much all the way through, twice. End ending is weak, though.

Anyone here know have any experience with narcolepsy? I'm starting to think it may explain a lot and would like to find out how to sort it out. My GP seems to decide what's wrong with me based on what trousers I'm wearing, so I'm thinking of going in armed with a plan this time and being so irritating she refers me somewhere just to get rid of me. I definitely have some sort of sleep disorder, I've always had major problems with sleeping, but I want it sorted out now.

I went on a blind date with a girl who had narcolepsy. She didn't fall asleep during it, though. The date, I mean; nothing else happened.

I've watched an hour long documentary on telly, so am therefore an instant expert and able to diagnose the condition medically like. It was amazing watching the meeting of the heads of the Narcoleptic Society.

I can see you're going to dine off this one for months. The funny thing is, I went out the next night as well and didn't go to bed until 4am Sunday.

Probably because I was so well rested the night before - BOOM BOOM.

It was a round table. Some did it in the midst of a speech. Awesome. Apparently stressful situations are a trigger for some.

There are some really nice doughnuts there. Pack of two for 69p, ring doughnuts with white icing and lines of chocolate over them, with a chocolate filling inside. Gorgeous.

I Was once the front seat passenger in a car being driven by a narcoleptic. That was one of the most scary experiences in my life!

Especially as we got pulled over by the police as apparently we matched the description of some armed robbers.

I saw that clip as well, it was brilliant. They all seemed very well-balanced about it too, when a room full of people watched it and started pissing themselves laughing. My favourite bits were when people started talking and fell asleep mid-sentence, and someone else carried on the sentence for them without missing a beat.

Apparently it's not necessarily a case of always falling asleep, though - there are about half a dozen symptoms, and many sufferers only have a couple.
