I read the book of that the other week, and it was excellent and nothing really like the film at all, but I think I mentioned that before.

If you liked that, you'll like "The Forever War" by that bloke who was in 'Nam.

Between you and me, the new Miami Vice remake probably isn't going to work.

There was, one of the guys on UGVM was part of the development team, and it looked quite promising for a while. I can't remember what happened, but I seem to recall it got canned as the devco ran out of money and went bust before it was finished.

Also, which woman out of Starship Troopers are you referring to? Denise Richards or Dina Meyer?

As for threesomes. Hmm, off the top of my head I'll take Yvonne Strahovski and Tricia Helfer ;)

Got this last Christmas and it is one of the best sci fi novels I have ever read. I got an edition with the three original books in one volume.

I really can't recommend it enough to any sci fi fan.

My big cousin is in the police and had to stand waist deep in the Clyde at 2am one night trying to convince some mad junkie to get out. She said that after five minutes she didn't care if the junkie did get swept away since then she would have been able to abandon them.
If you fall in the Clyde you have to get your stomach pumped. I'm guessing the Thames may be similar though eh? :spew:

Hoho! When I lived in a student house, our landlord sent his workmen round to build us a barbecque out of bricks, and to tidy up the back garden (such as it was). The Norwegian chap who lived in the room at the back was wonderfully perverse and enjoyed all sorts of schoolboy humour, and told us that one of the workmen could seemingly only communicate by belching, while the other swore constantly.

WORKMAN 1: Ere, Dave, fucking pass us that fucking hammer.
WORKMAN 2: *belches*
WORKMAN 1: We're fucking gonna need some more cunting mortar, is there fucking any left in the twatting van?
WORKMAN 2: *urrrrrrp*
WOKRMAN 1: Hold that fucking shit in place while I tight fucking it.
WORKMAN 2: *throaty burp*

Step 2: using your chopper, land on cash depositary roof
Step 3: ???
Step 4: Leg it as there aren't any helicopters that can chase you.
