There was, one of the guys on UGVM was part of the development team, and it looked quite promising for a while. I can't remember what happened, but I seem to recall it got canned as the devco ran out of money and went bust before it was finished. Also, which woman out of Starship Troopers are you referring to? I got an edition with the three original books in one volume. I really can't recommend it enough to any sci fi fan.
